Description
A sketch-vector of a piece by An-Obvious-Decoy, who apparently is going away?! Sadface! There was a blanket "reuse allowed with credit", so hopefully it's ok, but it was also a commission so...
.Anyway...about 2 evenings of work for the ponies and props, then a bunch of tweaking (which still isn't done by the way. Expect some updates).
For the future: Details on the barrel and mugs. Flushed faces. Possible new background. I'd appreciate ideas.
Intentional "mistakes": No eye shines. They're drunk, so semi-dead eyes.

The piece could maybe do with a little shading, but otherwise I can't really see to much to critique on. Granted I'm still learning to draw MLP ponies myself though so I'm not really the one to be giving out critique on this subject just yet!
I loved the cider episode, I was very surprised when a friend told me about the episode just as I was getting into MLP FiM. I couldn't believe that a children's cartoon had an episode centred around an alcoholic beverage! That kind of maturity is one of the stand out principles of the show.

Thanks for the feedback. I've never been too good at shading. Vectors make that a major challenge. That said, they definitely need some blush on their faces (as seen in the source), so I'll have to figure out how to do that soon.
As for the cider in the show...besides it being frothy they never showed anyone getting inebriated. Children would assume its normal sweet cider. Us older fans can chuckle behind our hands at the lightweight ponies.
