why so much noise and banding @ 200 ISO on a 1Ds.
was it underexposed and corrected in RAW?

Yes.. you got it. it's ramped up about 5 stops. I was exposing for detail in the silhouette. I needed to under-expose it to keep the lens flare in check.

the lighting in this piece is incredible. I am trying to figure out how you did that! I don't feel I have the credentials to say anything that would qualify as advanced, but the balance in the picture is ace, the lines and movement keep my eye in the composition, traveling in a circle, and not only because of the obvious circle in the center, but also the wheel-like positioning of the model. I also like the earthy tones. It's lovely. I can't suggest anything, only express appreciation.

wonderful! but look little grainy to me.. strange for iso 200, maybe is my monitor.. o you have pull too much the exposition bar in camera raw..
