oh wow 2016 looks amazing! It looks like an oil painting and I have to admit that I like the mouth there the most. But in 2019 the eyes are the best and I like how detailed the hair looks there

For me it's only because of the mouth. Your style is pretty realistic even though you have some cartoonish parts in it and that's why I somehow feel like the mouth is a little too huge in 2018 and 2019. But ignoring the mouth I like 2019 the most, and you can see not only how much you have improved over the past two years but also that you found your own style
possible i just said how it looks to me xD you don't need to stay true to references xD

Oh well I can easily explain why the mouth is so huge on him that is a conscious decision I've made with this character - Devan has a huge smile that always look too cheeky to be serious so therefore I slowly begun to draw his smile wider and wider 
I am starting to find a style at least
