My entry to Insec-Sess ' 600 watchers contest
First I wasn't sure if I wanted to enter I mean I wanted to give others a chance first and at the same time I didn't know if I would have time or not - that turned into a 'maybe I'll draw a little thing' and now here I am with a not-quite-little entry
I got really inspired about the fact that Odio plays the violin
I didn't take the long for me to imagine him and Vanilla (right) jamming out together on their string instruments their colourpallettes ended up fitting so well together too So much purple :'D First I'd thought it may be fun to do this lineless but I chickened out :'D instead I decided to use only purple and grey tones
Also; I tried to fool around with "real" rim light
it is not perfect but it is there :'D (Do not try to play the notes - they are put in at random at midnight - 1 am yesterday so it probably won't sound good :'D x'D)
Odio (left) is belonging to Insec-Sess - he plays the violin
Next to hum is my girl Vanilla playing the viola ^V^ (then you can also see the difference in size on the string interments for once ) Fun fact: I only listened to violin heavy classical music drawing this to get in the mood

SO for 600 I decided to hold another art contest since it was so fun last time and I got so many lovely arts

I love the monochromatic colour scheme here a lot, it's so beautiful with all the different purple colours

I really wanted this duality between their styles of playing to show while having them seem like a unite so I am glad it shows
It took a bit of fumbling around with the music notes but I too am glad how it turned out in the end
Would you like to hear the wildest part :'D? I actually did only shade yesterday x'D Tuesday evening I'd made everything up to flat colour but was too tired to continue :'D so my 2-3 hours yesterday were only spend on shading x'D

Yes, I also think the monochrome feeling is better this way, without the yellow and orange, sometimes it's better to give your lighting a miss :'D

I am quite excited since the contest ends tomorrow (bad, bad timing but who'd known :'D) and the host might have made me even more alert since they faved only four of the drawings yesterday or the day before that, mine included, and they have four prizes in their contest :'D *I really try not to hope for anything why is this so haaaaard OVO :'3*

I actually thought it was tomorrow but seems like the results came today and nope I was not even in top four (out of 8) but that's alright the host is more of an anthro artist so I can understand she'll rather have some body who's good at drawing anthros to win :'D

That's alright :'D it could've been much worse and tbh I find it somehow fair since last time they hosted a contest I won second prize so now at least it is not the same people winning again

I don't think that should be an issue, the same people winning something, when it's a contest you should know best looking at the winners from your last two contests :'D but yes, it's stilla nice thinking if it's that way :'D

It was not because I felt like she last time didn't seem happy for the drawing more like if I should do it now it went so well last time but now it is the other way around that if she doesn't even appreciate it... idk :'D
