-this is the third of three paintings based on the same photograph that i took at painter's studio in kyiv, ukraine. subjects include my dad, michael sherrill , nelly isupova , irina ossadchaya , and olexiy loukashevytch .

thank you very much! the brush strokes you noticed are actually carved grooves. there is paint in the grooves though.
