Description
The concept behind this piece links back to deforestation and the way animals and plants rely on each other to survive. When a forest is demolished, the organisms of that forest are forced to migrate and essentially die off when they are unable to find a familiar ecosystem to get used to. The trees falling behind the buck symbolize the traces left behind.

Fun fact: Białowieża Forest (located in Belarus near Poland) is the largest old-grown forest in the world which has not been disturbed by human activity. Elders grow very tall with seven feet wide trunks and even the last of the bison tribes live there.
