I have no idea why exactly but I love this.
There is a great 'shattered' star pattern you have going which gets darker has you go out giving it a look that reminds me of the "light in the dark" kind of feel. :V 10/10

Thanks Dru! The main shape is created with fan2. the black breaks are caused by adding a new variation that the beta testers are looking at (this is what makes the bright focal points too). I've been experimenting with getting these lines smaller, but the breaks aren't straight, so if i make them too small i get overlap

I like it. Oddly enough it brought to mind a keyboard or piano reflected in a broken mirror so the image is warped.

i actually made one that looked a lot like a keyboard, but i never rendered it. i should have the parameters saved somewhere though. if you've never seen ~JoeFRAQ 's stuff, check him out.
