I hate the Zoo in my town.the animals are in terrible conditions. they are all so sad and boring...
I'll post more images that show the situation in the media of my city.
I hope some people take concience of this situation.
Oh... was incredible, the crowd shouted to that poor animal asking to do something, they threw popcorn (what is prohibited) expecting something different from that poor, old and boring animal. so in a moment of silence, look at the crowd, open the legs and piss... like saying this is for you! and then turned and show his back to all of us. magnific!

Mr. Orangutan is looking very defiant here. Those filthy steps are actually part of his enclosure? I thought zoos were supposed to have regular inspections and all that.
It is mistreatment like this that gives zoos on the whole a bad name. Poor orangutan. It looks like it hardly ever gets a chance at exercise. People think that just because animals aren't in the wild that they have a bad life, and in the case of this zoo, it's true. In general, zoos try to take good care of their animals, as well as to help protect the animals outside the glass. Good luck with the Born Free Foundation.

It always makes me want to throw stuff at the people how do this to animals - I mean how stupid can you be to bombard them with popcorn and things like that?!
You should have taken pictures of them!
The orang utans at our zoo are fortunately getting a new, better enclosure very soon.

btw, orang utans seem to be good at this kind of behaviour. One of "ours" gave my mother the finger a couple of years ago when she tried some baby talk at him. He must have learned that rude gesture from someone. I wonder if he has some kind of sense of what it means, or if he uses it rather randomly.

estos hdp lo tienen en una jaula sin arboles y con solo un metro cuadrado de pasto, el resto es cemento!
los enfermitos de los que estaban mirandolo le gritaban, le tiraban tutucas y pochoclo para que haga algo...
espero un momento de silencio, abrio las gambas y meo mirandolos a todos... despues dio la espalda de nuevo.
