Description Being an educated and intelligent kind of dog, Barney the border collie likes to read himself a bedtime story every night... his favourite is "White Fang" by Jack London Love the look he's giving me here, as though slightly annoyed at being interrupted from the story!

And that's why border collies are my favourite dogs! ^^ 

I love the composition and warm colours. They create such a cosy atmosphere

It's great that Barney really looks like he is reading a book and I even want to sit next to him and discuss the novel Many people dress their animals and make them look silly but here it's a very lovely and realistic scene.

Border collies are the best (although I love all dogs, of course!). Thanks I don't really like it when dogs are made to wear silly costumes... Barney's very tolerant about the use of props in photography but as far as dressing up goes, glasses and maybe the odd scarf (or tinsel at this time of year) is as far as I go!

Thanks White Fang was the first "proper" books I read as a kid, still one of my favourites today!
