Makani is my first poseable doll sculpture. He took me in excess of 40 hours to make and is completely one of a kind.

In all honesty I don't know if I can justify making another one of these dolls, my hat is off to those who do this sort of thing for a living. There is just an increadable amount of work that goes into them that if you were to pay just $200 for one its a bargain.

The techniques used and needed for this had me totally stumped at times but I battled on through and I am pleased with the end result.

I made Makani out of recycled fur, which is fur I scavanged from soft toys I found at our recycle centre. I thouroghly clean it all and dry it in the drier to fluff it back up and sanitise it

I totally loved making this doll!
