Hahaha okay ^u^ I usually just start by drawing the front of his face and his windshield. Either that or his headlights since cars can be easier to draw by starting with the headlights XD Hahaha Professor Potato must be a thing now! XD

But that's what make an art look genuine, and it shows your hardwork, dedication and improvements in being able to draw that character and the more you draw the same thing. you will become better as time moves on.

I am definitely planning to draw everything I can. It's your dream goal to work at Pixar too? I'm determined to work at Pixar Animation Studios as well! (I actually finally got around to writing about that on my deviantID/bio thing XD) I wanted to be a video game designer for years, but Pixar stole my heart when I saw the teaser for Cars 3. Though I'm still keeping my video game designer career as a Plan B just in case.

It honestly seems like after I drew this one picture that looks exactly like a certain YouTube video paused at a certain time, my artistic abilities left me for a year! Now it's like they coms and go as they please XD. I think I may have seen that picture of yours before. Ooh, I've never done a collab before! What exactly is that? Heheh, same here!

A collab is where two people work together on an art piece. Like, I draw one character and send it to you via Notes, and you draw the next character, put him/her in that same picture and send it back to me, then I colour one character, send it back to you and you colour yours, and so on and so forth. Or one person can do the drawing and the other can do the colouring, and then take turns adding details. So yeah, that's basically a collab.

That sounds so cool and fun to do! I'd love to do a collab with you sometime ^_^. But it sounds like something done with/easier to do with digital art and I don't have a digital drawing tablet ;-;. I really want one to practice digital art and maybe some animation, but all I have is a 3D art and animation program...but no tablet to use it with! But I'd still love to collab someday

I'm sure we could find a way! And actually I need to let you in on a little secret; I got a tablet, but have not been able to find a decent pen, and when I draw with my finger it looks funky. So believe it or not, all my artwork is done on my laptop. Needless to say my fingers get so sore! But yeah, that's actually how it's done! (And why my drawings look so stiff!)

It's a Samsung Galaxy SM-T580. I actually got it to take to school because my laptop is so heavy, but it also doubles as a camera and a gaming platform. I've only tried out two tens--there was one that looked like a crayon my sister gave me (thanks a lot! ) and one that came with my tablet case...I'm not sure what the brand name was, but the pen wasn't pointed, it was rounded, which made all my drawings come out wonky. So now I'm trying to find a tablet pen that, well, is more like a regular pen! I KNOW they exist, I just can't find them. Plus I can't find a good drawing programme for my tablet, and when I tried to download GIMP from the Google Play, it said I downloaded an outdated version XP So I have to do my drawings on my computer, using the lineart tool and my touchpad. I'm glad they still look good though.

Oh that's awesome . I have a Kindle Fire tablet, but what I'm looking for is a tablet that's used for drawing digitally. The ones with the screens are hard to find! Hahaha, a tablet pen that looks like a crayon sounds adorable X3. Ugh, I know that struggle with rounded stylus pens -_-. I hope you can find a pen that's pointed, because I'd love to see your digital art skills at their best! I think DeviantArt has some sort of digital art program called daMURO; I've tried it out at school with a computer mouse and it's actually pretty cool! Definitely not the best (the computers in the Graphic Design class at my school actually have Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and I think CS5, and those are AMAZING), but the MURO thing on DA seems to be pretty okay . Would work much better with a drawing pen, though! Dang, you must have a lot of patience to deal with the lineart tool AND touchpad to make drawings as worthy as yours! ^^

Yeah, those rounded ones are awful. -_- I've used DA Muro on occasion, but I can't really create anything significant with it. I use Paint.NET, GIMP and Lunapic for my digital artwork. I would love to purchase Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop someday though!

Heheh, well it does take me literal hours to get one drawing done, and sometimes that escalates into days, weeks and even months! (Well part of the reason is because of school and life, but it's still very time-consuming). I really can't wait to get a real drawing pen for my tablet! I'm going to ask for one for my birthday, because my art would look so much better that way!

All I've done with that Muro thing was create cool designs, but nothing much. I would LOVE to have Paint Tool SAI because it seems every breathtaking digital artist on here uses that program! Like, I must have it!!! XD Photoshop is WONDERFUL, and shockingly it wasn't bad to use a mouse for it . Too bad I can only use it at school, which will be ending soon for me -_-. (Yes, I am a little sad about that, believe it or not! XD)

Well the longer it takes you to finish something, that just means you are a very dedicated artist . Aside from the other time-consuming aspects like school and life, of course. I hope you can get one because like I said I'd love to see your digital art at its absolute best ^_^

Now all I need is a tablet and pen and good program. MS Paint can actually be used to make some really cool things, but I'd love something better XD

I know! Paint Tool SAI is great, as my sister uses it. However, you have to buy the licence to use it. You will, however, get 31 days of free trial, so I'll probably wait awhile before I install it. I've heard Krita is also good, as it's what my friend uses, and it's free! I still need to download it though! I've heard Photoshop is easy too! Oh wow, you're sad about school ending? Mine starts up on Wednesday and I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT XD

That's true, I did use MS Paint to create the cake frosting for a friend's drawing, but it's very primitive compared to GIMP, Photoshop and Paint Took SAI. It's got its uses, though! I personally recommend GIMP and Paint.NET. I also suggest Lunapic, but that is a web site and you can really only do cool effects up there. I still use it a lot, though.

Oh wow, I didn't know you had to buy a license to use Paint Tool SAI! What kind of license is it? I know the program is very pricey, so I don't know if I'll get it anytime soon. But first thing's first for me is I have to get a tablet before I get any programs XD. I've never heard of Krita before, but I'll be sure to try it out when and if I ever get a tablet . Photoshop takes some time to learn how to use, as it has SO MANY features (but then again any Adobe program has a lot of features), but it makes doing digital art so easy! Yeah, I'm kinda sad because I'm a senior so it's my last year, and after I graduate I'll likely never see any of my classmates ever again. As dumb and annoying as some may be, it would be a lie if I said they weren't entertaining. I'll miss those goobers XD just as I'll miss my actual friends. School gave me something to do, and now it's time to go for the next chapter of my life: college. (But every step is a step closer to Pixar, I hope!)

Yeah, Paint's not nearly as advanced as just about every other digital art program out there, but hey it proved to be useful . I'm not sure, but simply put, you need to pay to get it. You can actually get Krita for your PC, just like you can with Paint.NET and GIMP, just so you know.

I did! I couldn't really create the texture anywhere else, so I reverted back to MS Paint for that. It's got its uses.

MS Paint did a very good job with that texture for the frosting, you made a good choice to use it . It's too bad that people constantly make jokes about Paint, though. It can be pretty useful in a pinch or when you're down to the last option!

I feel like I'm going to need a miracle to get one, just because they're so darn expensive! XD Especially the ones with a screen, which is what I prefer.

I'll admit I'm guilty of making Paint jokes, too, but it's actually not completely useless--I mean I didn't have brush-type options in Paint.NET and I had no idea where to find them in GIMP so I used Paint, which had brush options and used that! Took a couple of tries for me to get it right though!

Yeah, they can be! I think Samsung is cheaper than Apple though, if I'm correct. Still, good luck on getting one! It's worth having! All I need is an iPhone and I'll have everything electronic imaginable!
