Pit was playing Kid Icarus (the Nintendo one)
Palutena walked in and took a controller.
She unplugged Pit's and made him think he was playing.

1. the comic clearly shows that Pit saw her and is aware that she's in the room with him, so assuming she somehow pulled it off despite that (you'd have to be pretty dang sneaky) he'dΒ surely notice her with the controller and, thinking he was still playing, ask her what the hell she's doing because he knows it's not a 2 player game
2. they're playing on a Nintendo 64
