Description Finally got this thing done after months of planning and abandoning. :'I I sorta regret not adding more colour to the earlier images but the toning was saved with the outline for some stupid reason so colouring under them both made it look ugly. OH WELL.

Meme is for my dovahkiin Bryeir because I'm a skyrim addict, help me. Oh and I finally drew my Oblivion hero Falknarr. He's suppose to be related to Bryeir. If you couldn't tell.
I still have Keeps as my main character but I don't feel as tho thieves and assassins are too 'heroic', sorry guys.

Welp. OFF TO FINISH SOME WORK.
[rolls away]

PS: Happy New Years you guys. c: Thanks for being amazing.

I tried playing Skyrim a little..? *backs away slowly and goes into a sprint* DON'T KEEEEELLL MEEEE
Oh man I love Falknarr though, miss the guy. Also Bryeir looks amazin'. He looks like such a cutie though with Nirante! Eeee!! And he's so right about the dragons, I agree with you. Watching my brother be attacked by the Courier and then a dragon flying by is hilarious but quite terrifying.
Also the Companions. Yes. Love those guys and I want to be in their faction so badly. Oh dang, after this Notsun 'll try and make me play it again; then I'll have an Orc Werewolf.

edit: Also you did such an incredible job with the pictures and stuff, love it so much!

I never showed Falk before. |D But whatevers. c: And pfft, Nira knows how to keep him civil.
Yeeeaaah, I'm not really /scared/ of the dragons (its the draugr for me...) I just find them very annoying to deal with, specially when they show up at a very bad time. :c
Woot, Orcs are awesome. I got an orc chick who needs a bit more development but yeah. xD she kicks ass.

Oh danngg. >:I I thought I knew what I was talking about for a minute, I'm sorreeyy
Nira totally does. I mean it's like Belle and Beast going on there. "JUST HOLD STILL!! LEMME'-"
"RAAWR FINE"
Well, terrifying in that I can't fight one for poop, but man. I know how you feel. *shudders* Those Daugr scare the poop out of me( The ones I can't fight for XD). Though yeah, I've got to say those Dragons have bad timing, especially like how multiple show up almost in one Dragon-fight. Maybe it is like a boxing ring? And Alduin is the ref?
They always show up at a bad time.
Orc chickas are the bomb, I want her to be a werewolf so bad.. I think I recently found the Companions place so I'm going to mess with them.
Oofta, I have to say Mammoth cheese sounds awful XD

Mikaces In reply to Fingrprints [2015-01-02 23:24:50 +0000 UTC]

Happens to me all the time. :'I
Oh yeah totally. xD They actually have a scene similar to that. Bryeir being a Nord and all isnt all that fond of magic or magic users. He grows more civil and matured with age but at the early stages of their 'friendship' Bryeir would be all rageful if Nira tried healing him with spells.. :'I He'd rather suffer it seems. He learns... ...Still refuses to use magic tho.

Yeah, Dragons used to scare me. but then I met some of the character dragons who have names and history and stuff and damn I love them. xD Plus now I got a mind control shout which allows me to ride the dragon instead.
Theyre not as bad as the zombies from Oblivion tho, thank god. :'c Ill have nightmares forever.

Alduin would be a dirty ref. >:I

I think the Companions were my first faction. xD Jarret was originally going to be a companion... when I was playing for the very first time. But then I discovered the thieves guild. Instant family for Jarret.

It looks it. :I; yuck. If you ever raid a Giant's camp look for things that look like bags... theyre full of the cheese...

DON' USE THOSE HEALING SPELLS ON ME I CAN LIVE THIS MIGRAINE OUT.
I could never do that. I mean sometimes you feel more awesome if you don't take pain killers though, but it's a weird and not so smartly thought-out awesome.

Dragons are boss, it's when they pop up in front of you or come from nowhere when you're unprepared.
I just want to huggle all the dragons, man.
Oooh. Mind control those babess

I've gotta say rotting corpses walking around are more scary than alive things.    Besides him.

SAAAME. but then I give up and abuse my pills. Because I'm a wuss. |D;

Yo heard them coming because they roar before an attack. Then you know you gotta run. Sucks when you cant carry more stuff so you have to stress about what to drop since dragon bones/scales pay well. :T Also, legendary dragons are friggin god-moders. Bryeir was having no problem with dragons for AGES, then they show up and use their stupid shouts that drain your health and stamina. Like... wat. I havent used healing potions so much ever.

Yeeah...

Jarret prefers to be in the thieves guild. |D sneaking around and avoiding fights is his way of life. Getting rich on the side is nice too.

Nice. So, what's your favorite glitch or horrible Skyrim experience?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mikaces In reply to Haseo-Ani-Waya [2015-01-01 15:24:56 +0000 UTC]

Fave glitch: The ground in Solitude (where Bryeir's main home is) suddenly decided to not be there when I exit the manor. So yeah. Epic falls everywhere. Some how I managed to survives one of the times and ended up in a ditch that had water in it and a bucket floating around. Couldnt get out though. So yeah. That was weird.

Horrible experience: Back in the early days of Bryeir I was getting used to charging in and killing things rather than using stealth. Ended up in one of the Forts next to Goldenglow Estate by Riften and ended up in big trouble when the bandit chief, about 3 or 4 other bandits and about 2 fire mages decided to attack all at once while I was trapped in one of the rooms and there was little to no way out. :'I Nords and fire don't mix. Had a lot of potions but by the end I had none and the mages were still around. Had to resort to the Battle Cry ability to make them stop attacking but another problem came up when they were running away and healing, so that was annoying.
Safe to say it took me a while to recover from that so for the majority of the game Bryeir was sneaking and scouting the situation before deciding to charge in. orz sigh.

Haseo-Ani-Waya In reply to Mikaces [2015-01-02 00:54:07 +0000 UTC]

Wow, these are going to be pretty hard to beat.

Fave glitch: I was traversing the wide open subarctic of Skyrim when I came across a peddler and his horse, beset upon by a band of bandits. Acting quickly, I drew my bow and made quick work of the highwaymen, only to have the ungrateful merchant and his steed turn on me. How's that for gratitude. I was more than a little confused, because I was sure I hadn't hit either man or beast during the skirmish, so to try and  find a peaceful solution, I resorted to melee combat, as my opponent was armed with little else but a steel dagger, barely nicking my dragon bone armor. Unfortunately for him, this was my first introduction to Skyrim's melee kill cam. And somehow, someway, the game glitched, and the peddler's horse soon found its head plunged into the ground alongside it's master's. I promptly looted the corpses of all their worldly possessions and meat and absconded as quickly down the mountain as physically possible. I have picks or it didn't happen evidence.

Horrible experience: I was exploring a random cave, and as it turned out, was actually a vampire den. I didn't know it was a vampire den, heck, at the time I didn't even know there were vampires in Skyrim. So yeah, I wiped them out and cleared the cave, and as I exit the cave, the screen gets really bright and a bit of text pops up in the upper left hand corner, "Your blood boils in the daylight". I think, 'What the heck does that mean?', so I pause the game and go to look it up, and it turns out the vampires used an attack called Vampiric Drain on me, and I got infected with vampirism. A one in ten chance, and it got me.
So I figure, 'Hey, no worries, I'll just drink a cure disease potion.'.
I didn't have a cure disease potion.
So then I think 'O-okay, no big deal. I'll just fast travel to the nearest town and buy one.'.
Not only were Lydia and I over encumbered, but I hadn't saved in a very long while beforehand.
So then I go to walk to the nearest town, when a group of thugs appear out of no where, saying they were hired to kill me, and start attacking me. Since I was already over encumbered I opted to get on my horse and leave while Lydia stayed behind, so I bolted...only to run into a pack of wolves... which then chased me into a two bears... which then chased me towards a dragon. I should have taken a picture. Those were the hardest in game 21 days of Talavyr's life. Eventually I managed to get cured, but that was a horrible story for another day.

Mikaces In reply to Haseo-Ani-Waya [2015-01-02 01:05:10 +0000 UTC]

Pfft, oh man. |D That horrible experience reminds me of the time I was playing on Jarret's original file back when he used to be dragonborn since Bryeir wasn't created yet. So basically I was leaving Gallows Rock after getting a stolen item for that argonian chick at the docks but I decided to explore and found the mill just below the cliffs. Suddenly a bear started attacking me, I wasnt very good at armor perks back in the day and Jarret's puny armor was not helping him at all. I started to flee only to run into a Giant, which was weird seeing as I didnt remember there being any giant camps. Anyway, I went all werewolf and started fighting them up a cliff side to avoid their hits but then a dragon showed up. Killed the bear first, barely got rid of the Giant and had the dragon on its last legs before it got me.
Moral of the story: Must keep in mind that you can't use potions while a werewolf. orz

Yeah, I learned that lesson the hard way. Chocked that up there with such useful tips as, "You're followers might be immortal unless you finish them off unless otherwise stated, but your steeds are not." Poor Myrtle, she was a brave horse, but there were just... just too many horkers. Her haunches were delicious.
Which reminds me, have you seen The Elder Scribbles yet?

Yeah... That is why I generally avoid having a horse. :I Or atleast try to not get too attached after what happened to Frost. orz I loved Frost... sob.
On Bryeir's file I has Shadowmere and it grew on me because it seemed to be unkillable. Best horse so yeah. Then one day I fast traveled and it never appeared. I didn't even know it died. :'c It fought with me in the war, man. Charged them forts and fought them stormcloaks like it was NOTHING. and I was like freaking out when it did that because usually it was my fault by either forgetting to move it to a safe location or not moving it far enough. orz sigh.. Oh Shadowmere. So yeah, Bryeir doesn't get a horse. He rides fookin DRAGONS.

And no?

Yeah, they're a give and take thing for me. Yeah I have to worry about them attacking whatever's attacking me or bolting whenever I enter combat, and if you just take an unowned horse it will walk away from you when you get off of it, but they are such a convenience if you're coming out of a hellish dungeon loaded in highly valuable stuff and over encumbered.

Ooh  I hope you like this, I know I did. Heck, I'm probably going to rewatch it again now.

Ikr? :I When Bryeir was moving from Jorvaskrr (can't spell, but where the Companions are) Shadowmere was super helpful. I moved it right to the gates of Whiterun and walked ever so slowly to her. A lotta shiz to carry and all.. :I then fast traveled to Solitude and walked super slow to Proudspire manor. Then ended up dropping most of the stuff on the floor. Housecarl wanted some shiz, I said no. :I Felt kinda bad... So I smithed her some epic armor.
But yeah, slowly sorted everything out from then. Took about 5-7 hours to get everything sorted. That's how much junk I had stored away over time. Was sure to hang all the important weapons on the walls. c': I love his house.. so full of memories. Was super happy when everything was finally sorted. Ended up completing the house by adopting Meeko the dog. He's usually found in the master bedroom, being a comfy bugger in the carpet. Really makes me happy to see how far Bryeir came in-game. xD

OOOH THAAAAT. Yeah, I seen them aha. I actually showed them to a friend a few days back. Loved the series because it's so true. xD ...So painfully true about the ungrateful people thing. Wish we could team up with the dragons instead.

No, you spelled it right. Man, I love all the Nordic names the research team put in the game.
Talavyr lives in Whiterun at the moment, and once I get a copy of the Legendary edition for the 360, his main home will be in Falkreath hold. It took me so freaking long to save up cash to buy lumber and track down resources enough for everything, but I finally got it built, but that was on a friend's console, so, gotta be patient for now. It's gonna look so cool when I'm done with it. I didn't know you could adopt dogs though. I might get one of the huskies from the dawnguard once I get to that point, as I have one offline as a pet.

And yeah, the're awesome. Not sure about teaming up with the dragons, as they are trying to enslave mankind. But how about a High King dlc where you can become the next high king? Now that's something I can get behind.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mikaces In reply to Haseo-Ani-Waya [2015-01-02 02:59:26 +0000 UTC]

I originally wanted it to be Whiterun... but honestly it wouldn't hold Bryeir's and Nira's stuff. Plus family. And the housecarl as well as Serana because damnit she's Bryeir's partner after Nira gets other responsibilities. And pets.. Yeah. But I didnt really feel it needed to get them to move to the Heathfire houses. Wanted, but I see them being better off in Solitude where their kids will be safe and the Legion would be close by since the whole family is pretty much loyal to it. Just seems like the best location. xD But yeah, I started building the Lakeview Manor on my Imperial file. Honestly, I only really needed 5000 gold for the land then I more or less gathered my own building materials by cutting lumber and mining for other stuff.

And yeah, you can adopt dogs. But your kids gotta ask you if they can keep it. Basically you gotta bring it home, if they dont respond then fast travel to another town with the dog and then go back. They SHOULD ask you about it unless its a glitch or something.

You are one of them tho, so you should atleast get the choice. :u just saying. Those people we keep saving are awful mostly. Saved the world 3 times but do I get any gratitude? Nooooo... urgh.
And idk, seems too high of a title. I'd rather just get the chance to advise the high king or something. ...Or high queen. Elisif over Ulfric any day.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Haseo-Ani-Waya In reply to Mikaces [2015-01-02 03:38:48 +0000 UTC]

Okay, yeah, I see where you're coming from. I say Whiterun because while Talavyr is loyal to the Empire as a whole, General Tullius is a dick, and Elifif, well, she isn't a bad queen, at least not that I have as yet seen, but I don't know if she's leadership material. Truth be told, Ulfric probably would make a better leader, and I've found in game dialogue that suggests Torryg might very well have sided with Ulfric in declaring Skyrim's independence. But yeah, I just never really found Solitude as a city all that interesting. Actually, now that I think about it, why wasn't Whiterun the capital? Seriously, both the Empire and the Stormcloaks both were trying to take control of the city because of it's position in the heart of the province, the weather is the best of the extreme north and more temperate south, not to mention you're going to be the most familiar with it starting out and it's citizens are the least ungrateful and friendly. Honestly, even though it isn't I would have like the option to have built my house in Whiterun, even though I love Falkreath's forests.

Huh. I'll keep that in mind. I don't think I'm going to adopt though. I don't know, it just seems like the kids are just there to be there, without adding any real value to anything. Your companions are more or less pack mules with entertaining quotes everynow and again, but the kids... Not for me. Sorry. Now that I bring it up though, I would like the option to have all my housecarls live in my main house though.

Yeah, I guess you're right, "Dragonborn", after all. I can see it now, your dragonborn telling everyone they are 'dragon kin", and swearing up and down to everyone that they feel an otherworldly connection to the dragons of old, and no one believes them, right up until dragons show up, start causing widespread mayhem, and the dragonborn devours their soul like a boss.
Also, how about, if you decide to let him live, Paarthunax decides to reward you with a shout he's never given to anyone with the Voice but you, a shout that lets you become a dragon?

Mikaces In reply to Haseo-Ani-Waya [2015-01-02 04:31:24 +0000 UTC]

She's still learning so I think she'll grow into it. Seeing as she depended greatly on Torryg. I think she'll be a good high queen with some guidance. Ulfric is a racist dick tho. I much prefer General Badass Tullius. |D Plus Ulfric's cause will just destroy Skyrim. The Thalmor brainwashed him into starting this war thus weakening the Empire and Skyrim itself. Just so they could take it easily. That's what happened to their people long ago. So the Elves are trying the tactic again but just in reverse.
And no, Solitude is the capital of Skyrim aha. If you look it up thats what it says, even the carriage driver in game says it. Fairly sure its the biggest city in skyrim too.
I think the only reason both sides want it is because its the only town thats stayed out of the war and in Ulfric's book those who arent with him are against him. I dont know if the Empire feels that way but I like to think they just want it on their side because it would be safer for the people there.

I disagree. |D Kids might not do much but they do on occasion give you cool things. :I Sofie gave me a number of valuable rings and shiz. ...I dont bother asking where she found them. Plus in character terms the in-game kids are replaced by my ocs. They just act as stand-ins for the game. Same with the wife/husband.
After the Dawnguard questline I feel like Serana is way more than a mule. Seeing as it got to the point where she refuses to carry things. :I But I love her because of her unique speech and general backstory. Again tho, I tend to over think things and just turn them into unique characters who interact with eachother differently etc. My friend lost interest in skyrim before but he says he really loves the whole character making and story writing after I told him about how I do it. xD Makes you be more a part of the game I guess.

Man, I would love to have the ability to transform into a dragon. Would be like the ultimate form. wouldnt be too far-fetched as there are werewolves and vampire lords so total transformations would be accepted. I was having that idea for a while now. Might just make it as a character add-on. idk tho. No one likes god-moding. :I Hm.

Haseo-Ani-Waya In reply to Mikaces [2015-01-02 05:29:07 +0000 UTC]

Oh no, I'm not trying to argue here, I agree with you, it's just certain details I'm emphasizing.
Yeah, Elisif probably will become a good queen, although I'm hesitant about the guidance part of it. It's not that I think she's weak, because I haven't tried becoming thane of Solitude yet, but like you said, she was so used to relying on Torryg, I'm afraid that someone might use that as an excuse to muscle in on her authority. Namely Tullius, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone in her court tried to offer a helping hand to take care of this and that while she attends to more imporant matters, and slowly bu surely she ends up a figurehead while said person runs the city from behind the scenes. And I agree with you here again, Ulfric is a racist dick. Sure, between Ulfric and Elisif, I would say Ulfric probably knows the people of Skyrim better, because he's lived among them as a citizen, soldier, and Jarl, while Elisif to my knowledge has lived as a noble all her life. That's not to say that Ulfric would make the best High King on the grand stage however. Yeah, Ulfric would do what he felt was best for Skyrim, but only the native people of Skyrim, the Nords. We already know he doesn't give a skeever's tail about the dark elves, and isn't all too fond of the other races of men and beasts, to say nothing of the other races of elves. If he were made High King, Ulfric would declare Skyrim's independance from the Empire, and thus make the Aldmeri Dominion's job that much easier, ironic, as that's the opposite of what he wants. Hard to think that he's perceptive enough to wonder if his rebellion is in the right and think of all the lives that will be lost because of him, but blind enough to not see everything I just pointed out. Hmm.

Oh yeah, I do that all the time. I love coming up with character for my characters, and do this when I write my stories as well. I even have friends here and on tumblr who we share our video game and oc head cannons with, it's great fun. It'd be great if we got a game as big and immersive as Skyrim, but with as much character as Mass Effect. Some people would say we did, and it's name is Inquisition, but I already have two games that I can't play because I need an external memory hard drive, so that affair will have to wait.

I know right ? I think it would work best as a shout, because otherwise you'd have to be a were dragon, and I dunno, that just seems kinda silly. Like, how would that even work? Hircine would have to have made some dragons his hunters then, but... no, it wouldn't flow right.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mikaces In reply to Haseo-Ani-Waya [2015-01-02 05:50:19 +0000 UTC]

Tullius wouldnt do that, I don't think. xD He's more military general than someone who wants to be the high king. Plus he's an Imperial. I doubt Skyrim would want him, seeing as the Jarls decide who High King is. Plus from what I learned in the questline he's not much of a public speaker so yeah, doesnt seem to be his thing.
That's actually kinda sad about Ulfric. He sounds like he'd be perfect for the job but yeah... being racist and a bit of an idiot kills that credit. I usually am all for rebels and having the rebels win against he government to make a change for the better but it seems like Ulfric is not what he first seems. And that's sad, seeing as he's one of the few who can shout. Him and the Dragonborn could of made a cool fighter duo. But nah, hes a dick, get rid of him. :I
Also, is it just me or his cause is actually BS? He claims to fight for Talos and thus the freedom of Skyrim but are we forgetting that Talos was Tiber Septim...? The guy who tried to unite all the provinces, who helped shape the Empire and all that? Seems rather disrespectful to think Talos would want the Empire driven out and thus causing more problems. :I

Im not sure what sorta games you mean, but the elder scrolls online is... well, online. :u So yay for epic group adventures...? Lots of bugs I hear but I'll give it a go when I can aha.

I don't think it would by Hircine.. xD I would guess Akatosh or Kyne (or whateber her name is..) since they are represented as dragons and Akatosh was the one who granted the dragon blood to the Septim bloodline. Kyne convinced Paarthunax to turn on Alduin and teach man to shout. Dragons seem more in turn with aedra than daedra.

Yeah, I guess your right there. What I meant was, because Tullius is all about the Empire first, and Skyrim second, he'd do what Cyrrodil told him over Solitude, and in that case, he wouldn't be sneaking around Elisif so much as over ruling her authority. But this would be in an extreme emergency type situation. Probably. And then there's always the Imperial spies that could find their way into Elisif's court too...
And it is too sad about Ulfric. Killed one of his closest friends and admirers to stop a threat that was using him like a puppet from the start. I'd pity him, but then the racism, or extreme nationalism, turns off my sympathy meter.
Yeah, and then there's the Tiber Septim Imperial part. Honestly, I don't know why the part about Tiber Septim was even in the White Gold Concordant. Yeah, the Elves don't like a human being considered a divine, but so what? It's not like the humans are forcing them to acknowledge him as a god or anything. Plus, these seem like the types of terms you force on someone after you've defeated them in a war, not when you're negotiating peace. Times like this I'm glad I'm a Redguard. We got sick of the Empire's ineptitude, declared our independence without a war, and beat the Aldmeri dominion by ourselves. Suck on that Ulfric. > You'll never be as great as Hammerfell

Yeah, I saw Angry Joe's review of it, and from what I saw, it is not the same we thought it was gonna be. Really buggy, lag, bad game design choices, and not all together what that launch trailer promised us it would be.

Right again, Kyne or Kynareth, depending on which dialect you prefer, Nord or Imperial. And the dragons are more or less lesser aedra. So yeah, it'd probably make a fairly good shout quest, and then boom, you can be a dragon for, like, what, 3 minutes at most? But be sure you're not flying when the timer runs out. Hilarious hijinks would ensue

Yaaaaay~

I really need to give Falknarr some love. :u; I made him in-game then I sorta got bored. Damn Oblivion mechanics.

I was sure Falknarr was a lesser played character, I haven't heard much from him, he sounds like the fun boasting type though.

He is pretty recent. xD But I only went to do a few random quests and got a bit bored. The clunky sounds his heavy armor makes isnt that great either. Keeps is way more fun to play with. |D But as a character I got some cool ideas for this dude.
He is a fun boasting type. xD So basically he's not much like Bryeir, apart from the heroic thing. I'm getting the feeling Bryeir just comes from a long line of heroes and adventurers. Guess it's genetic now. [smacked].
He might be a bit too much to handle sometimes but his morality is pretty solid.

That sounds pretty neat. I like that idea though, Bryeir was rather destined to be a hero but became a bandit leader instead, then had to make a comeback.
Although it would be fun to see Falknarr grow as a character if you choose to draw him more.

I wouldn't say 'destined' since he didnt know that he was dragonborn. xD I would think he just realized that proving to be a hero and match expectations would be impossible seeing as his ancestors seemed to have done very great things. SO YEAH, figured that if he can't get fame from good deeds, then he'd try being infamous for bad. While he never really done anything truely terrible, fairly sure he would of if he stayed with the bandits tho. And he wasnt a leader |D the leader actually felt threatened by Bryeir's violence and love for challenges and being the best so he and the others pretty much turned on him.

I can't decide if I wanna keep him blonde. >:I Hmm... In-game he has red hair (because Bryeir's was reddish before) but I tried red on him in drawing and Idk. >:I

Ah, he could have become leader though...

Well many Nords have long blond hair so you can keep it that way. He is a Nord yes? You can always use the games as templates and work on perfecting them through RP and art.
