Ru can be a bit insecure about himself, and his opinions, so he doesn't often speak up when it comes to class decisions. However, he is extremely stubborn, and once he has decided something, he is very hard to sway. In fact, he tends to become aggressive in an argument, and comes off as though someones different idea is personally attacking him. If the decision is officially made not in his favor, he will be uncomplaining and just follow the others lead.

Ru is actually very fun loving, and enjoys good times with friends. He is very charming upon first meeting him, but that tends to die down and sort of loses his charm once you learn of his aggressive side. He is not afraid to get into fights, and talk about people behind their backs if he thinks they are doing something foolish.

He is terrible at getting his work done for class, and is rightfully called a slacker Its a wonder he even got into high school in the first place, thankfully his middle school grades weren't that bad. He is really easy to get along with during team assignments, because he will do what you want him to do, it just might be very last minute and sort of rushed when the whole project comes together.

Although it might not seem like it, Ru cares deeply for others around him. He is willing to go to bat for someone if he feels they are right, or need his help. Unfortunately, this could very well mean breaking up relationships because he deems them unhealthy, or ruining someones day for looking at his friends the wrong way. But he truly means well in all he does, sometimes its just a little hard to see that.

Biography:

Elementary School:

Ru grew up in the big city, attending public school and lived with his mother and father. His mother worked as a nurse, and his father a construction worker. So Ru mostly spent the days with his mother, and watched over by his father while he slept. His mother would wake him up in the morning when she returned from work, and his father would drop him off at school. It was the order to things.

Ru would go to school everyday, and sit with the same group of people. Ai, Mei and Xue. All girls. They found Ru's shy nature cute, and didn't mind a bit that he was quiet. Because of this, Ru was often shunned by the other boys in his class for "taking all the girls" or carrying "cooties." A bit hurt about his fellow classmates behaviors, he decided that he wanted to be popular in middle school! His friends, of course, supported him and his goal. Stating that "They will be popular together!".

Middle School:

When Ru entered middle school, he started walking to school by himself. He didn't live to far away and his parents felt he was responsible enough. Ru and friends began phase one of becoming popular! Which was too get into a sport! He picked volleyball, and so did his friends. Unfortunately for him, he was on the boys team, while all of his friends were on the girls team. He was very lonely.. But as he started to go more often, he started warming up to the team, and making friends!

As Ru's friendships with his team mates grew, his friendship with his other friends began to strain. He would often flake on them to hang out with the team. As the years went on, Ru grew out of his shy behavior and into a charming young man. He would charm the other girls in his class to sit with his friends at lunch, and "study" together. Of course, his friends encouraged this side of him and called him cool for this.

It wasn't belong long until Ru was treating the girls horribly, often times dating more then one girl at a time. When this got out, all the girls in his class backed off. A lot of his team mates turned their backs on him, and he was once again left with a handle of friends. Unfortunately, these friends weren't a very good influence on him.

He began skipping classes, and getting into fights with boys and girls alike. They would sneak out of the house, and shoplift corner stores. Unable to get a good handle on their son. Ru's parents agreed that he should go live with his father's mother. Ru sent weeks protesting this, but to no avail. He was sent to the small town.

High School:

His grandmother was far from welcoming. In fact, she was extremely strict, and often had Ru clean up more then his fair share around the house. Ru complained, and argued, but would always lose to his grandmother's quick wit. Feeling that her grandson needed some guidance, She requested that he sign up for high school.

Ru was extremely against the idea, but once again lost that argument too. She said it would be good for him, which he knew. Ru enrolled, and to his surprise, got in. With that little miracle, taking it as a sign. Ru decides to try and be better, and has a long way to go. He sets up three goals for himself to try and better himself.

1. Make close friends again.

2. Be your best, and don't fall behind.

3. Make yourself, and your family proud.
