Description Photo taken of Cloud Gate in downtown Chicago my senior year.

And as for those of you who are concerned, lol, I am from Chicago and I do call it "The Bean" as well, just like every other local.

I really like how you grayscaled the image, leaving the "bean" in fullcolor. Wonderful picture, it makes me want to go there.

wow I've seen this statue few times before, but it has never been that impressive to me. Now I really really want to go there
may I ask what happens when it rains or snows very much? I mean, the metal might be a little muddy so the reflection is bad.

I love it! It's like a giant blob of mercury beaded up in the middle of a city. I love the mysterious and ethereal feel of this picture, as well as the varying reactions bystanders have toward this sculpture. A DD well-deserved! (*^-^*)

I've been wanting to see The Bean forever, seeing as I'm not terribly far from Chicago, being from Wisconsin.
I absolutely adore this photograph, especially with the selective colouring on the bean itself. It makes it that much more unique than the other shots I've seen of it!

WOW. I love this. I always liked visiting the bean (I'm from around here too~ ) and you took a great picture of it here! My friends and I always liked taking pictures of ourselves from the underside of it, since they'd always look silly. But this is much better than any of those silly pictures we took...Definitely because you took the time to actually work on this picture. I love it~

It really is hard to just go there and not take pictures, and it's worse when you forget to bring a camera of any type. I'm not even a photographer, and I feel that way. XD

YOU KNOW WHAT?! i love that thing when it rains! it has like this perfect circle around it and i freak out and take a bunch of pics because it has like this weird effect where the droplets are kinda like comic book dots and they get further apart and smaller as it spans out! and really i could care less about the reflection of the city or the weird design on the inside at that point and i'm really really hyper and sorry for the really random comment but i just had to say it! :0

-gasp- i was there when i was like 8! I loved it so much, and I remember it being extremely hot underneath of it (probably due to the fact it was mid summer :/) Thank you for reminding me of a once forgotten childhood memory!
