I want to figure out how you make the lighting effects on your artworks, I'm guessing Adobe After Effects but... not sure. They're just so realistic and they really help to set the artworks mood, theme and so on. As disturbing as this looks I can feel an enormous amount of sadness, turmoil and frustration coming from the girl you drew. Happiness... maybe she should buy ice cream, it always makes me happy

I use Photoshop for my lighting and I simply make a "screen" layer and it looks great. Perhaps he's using the same method but he seem to have much more experience.
