The left one is 30% Mode and another is100% Mode. This armor is capable of disintegrating its molecules and recreate them as new parts for more protection (ex helmets, shoulder plate and also weapon).
By focusing its recreation process into one spot, the wearer could even create a shield that has capability to withstand even a direct cannon shell attack.
