Description

This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
The Grav is a legendary submachine gun manufactured by Syaff Weapon Division, and it is in fact one of the very first designs by this company. It gained notoriety as a weapon which helped the nation of Hebrion earn and maintain their independence, and it is still prominent decades later, although it is now often involved in much more shady businesses. The weapon is chambered for a 9.6 × 20 mm cartidge and has a fairly low rate of fire of about 600 RPM, which makes it fairly controllable. The controllability is further enhanced by a fixed vertical foregrip. A non-reciprocating charging handle is located on the top of the receiver. The weapon also has a simple extendable wire stock, but variants with fixed wooden or polymer stock have also been manufactured.

Years later, a modernized version called the Tamar was developed.

Inspiration and Background Information:
This weapon is mainly based on the Uzi submachine gun, although the foregrip feature and the barrel are taken from the Minebea PM-9.
