You should find a way to build torpedoes onto these. That way, they'll be ready for combat!!

They are strictly non-military vessels.

2 tiny radial engines attached to a small fuel tank, add a nice NCS adapter, and there. 1 torpedo.

Nah, even simpler. Sepatron boosters.

Hmm. However, if you attached a probe body and an rtg to the torpedo, it would be controllable. even better than an unguided missile. You know what, I'm going to get my 3-ship launcher, get torpedoes for the mini ships, and get one kerbal in one miniship, seperate the other (no kerbal though) and fire a torpedo at it!

Can't. My KSP runs out of memory too often. Hm... What if I remove the nuke boosters and replace them with a skipper or poodle...

I'm talking about the main vessel. It has 2 side nuke pods and stuff.

Easy way to do torpedoes is to use the small docking ports, the smallest fuel tanks that are there, attach a couple separatrons, and set action groups to decouple the docking ports and fire the separatrons at the same time once you're in space. If you want your missiles to be really accurate, rotate each of the boosters by 5 degrees in either direction so that they'll spin upon firing. A spinning torpedo is much more accurate, it's basic ballistics 101.

Can you even separate a sepatron from the rest of the vehicle?

With seperator parts...

I tried it. They keep flying in loops.

with a small decoupler, probably.
