Description
Fractal art wallpaper created by Chris Oldfield:2009I was told I should start adding some artist comments, but again, it is time, and I am at a loss.
I guess if I were to point out something interesting for those not familiar with fractals, it would be that, like the others along this same vein, the images you see here are actually 2 dimensional made to look 3d.
I am done boring you now..
As you may have noticed, I altered the format of my wallpaper borders. Hopefully, this still gives some space for icons, but is not as obtrusive as the other top/bottom bar combination... thoughts?
*Larger size 1920x1080 available in downloads*

Great. I love what you've done with this, though, I would have made it a tad brighter.

I think the texture makes it look fairly dark when sized down. Full size, it's a bit brighter... but it loses some when sized down from print dimensions. It might stand a touch of brightening at this size, but I couldn't see it being by more than 5 points or so.

Wow, I continue to like the morphs to this one. I do like your new boarder too, but since you asked for comments on the border...I think it diminishes the 3 dimensional effect and I think if the central lower element was masked on top of the boarder that would look more interesting. However, I also know how difficult that would be from a post processing approach. I think making the boarder somewhat transparent as you did is a good compromise.

Post processing it is ok.. the border is made in uf as well. I am more looking for something standardized that all pieces can go onto though, without worry of masking etc. The continuity monster beckons.
I was hoping it looked reflected onto the surface at the bottom. I may have to warble it a bit and gradiate it off a bit more to enhance the effect if the first impression is one of transparency.
Thanks for your insight.. the quest it seems, doth continue.
