I think they sometimes traveled selling the Apple family products, so they ran into an accident on the road... mauled by Timberwolves or caught in a wildfire... I'm more convinced of a silent cause, like a foreign disease with no cure (you know, exotic illnesses are more impactful on your body, since it hasn't the antibodies for).
Still sad as hell, tho...

This was an amazing episode and I just wish there was more to it. I'm so glad we know the history of the Apple family parents now. Though the way AJ said "They left something to remember them by." near the end while really pretty also makes me sad.
