Description Made in photoshop.
There are 3 human faces , a boat, and one elephant in the picture, will you find them?

(little hint:watch the rocks)
If you have really a lot of imagination you might even see a prehistoric guy eating a kind of apple :3

Have fun o/

Very cool painting! For the future though, remember that darker/sharper/more detailed things tend to pull forward (as in, they look closer to the viewer, as though they're in the foreground) and lighter/fuzzier/less detailed things tend to fade back (as in, look as though their in the background).

In this painting that effect is almost reversed, with the most eye-catching things being in the distant background, while the foreground seems to fade together. Just something to think about

Well, as the sun is at the back, i thought the backlightening effect was to be used ^^' But it's right that with normal lights the back is supposed to fade, i agree.

Maybe i should have put more contrast to show that it's backlightening? like using darker colors in the back and great contrast at the front with some shadows? What do you think?

I think that would be good (more contrast at the back, even with backlighting the edges of things would probably look sharply lit)

I figure for this particular painting the inverted effect is really cool, so I wouldn't add additional shadows to the foreground because it'd make the landscape lose depth.

Anyways, glad to have helped, slightly

Also, if i had make it fade, we wouldn't have been able to see the boat in the background ^^'
