Yes it has been SOOO long since I have done any art. Though I have done a few sketches I have a new Yuri!!! On Ice OC that I wanted to get the reference done for asap!

Anyway here is some basic information.

Name: Aurora Tolmie
Age: 17 (At start of anime)
Birthday: December 1st
Height: 160cm

Aurora is a Canadian who's Mother's side of the family originated in Russia (She can't speak Russian, but does know a few words). She is JJ's cousin, but is not fond of him, even though they were closer when she was young. She doesn't care for sports and is more on the artsy side, however both her parents whom are now divorced are quite fond of them. She lives with her mother since the divorce due to the fact her father is a coach for a hockey team and is out of town most of the time. Her father was a former hockey player and her mother's side of the family is all fond of both hockey and ice skating. Aurora can't skate, she isn't very graceful, even though she did take lessons when she was little. She didn't have the confidence in herself that she wouldn't fall, though she did enjoy skating with her father, even if she mostly just stood there. Being on the artsy side she loves fashion and want's to be a fashion designer, though she can't sew very well. She also likes painting and sketching. She is sort of the black sheep of her mother's side, often avoiding conversing and sitting to the side, sketching. Her mother sometimes drags her to JJ's competitions, or makes her watch it on TV. She watched the Junior Grand Pre finals and was completely mesmerized by Yuri's skating. Thinking how beautifully he moved was something she never had seen before. She wanted to watch him again, and for once insisted on going to Skate Canada so she could watch him again. She had no intentions of even talking to him, however she ended up having a chance encounter with him.

Aurora was named after the Aurora Borealis which can be seen in northern Canada. She has a bit of a temper and resorts on logic for reason, though she has a bad habit of getting swept away by her emotions from time to time. However she is very loving, and especially loves animals, particularly cats.
