I imagine two kinds of visions: a magnificent horse's mane, and a mythical dragon's tail. Either way it's a masterpiece.

Thank you very much.
It is difficult to do Phoenix, the black colors is always
contaminating the background............

You're very welcome - I hear you there; I always get frustrated when I find the dark colors interfering with my backgrounds...all I can think to do is just clean them up as best I can and give them a long render, hoping it will clear up...

A most excellent fractal - fantastic colors and an intriguing pattern to match - great job!
...by the way, that movie (Flight of the Phoenix - 1965) happens to be one of my all-time favorites!

Thank you very much. I'm glad that you like it
It is Phoenix formula.
By the way, when I thought about the title,
I forgot about the film, but I knew there was something
like Flight of the.............then I thought it was maybe
the Flight of the Intruder...........

Oh OK! That's cool - just a minor misunderstanding!
Yes, the original film starred Jimmy Stewart, Richard Attenborough and Peter Finch - it was the one where a plane and its passengers crash-land in the Sahara desert, and they have to build a new plane from the wreckage of the old one in order to get out. Quite a gripping story - great movie, too.

Thank you very much, Joe.
I do have problems with this one. I can't submit it as a print.
It's my third attempt, first one was a wrong file type,
I changed, wrong again, then I uploaded a third time
with a different title, still the same. I know it is correct
file type, and 300 dpi.

My pleasure, Minia.
You do know you can change the different sizes in DA?
There should not be a problem after you select new sizes.

I don't know what's happened, three times I had to upload it.
But I've done it now. I uploaded a new one and changed the title.
Maybe the computer was choosing the first one as a print.
It's OK now. Thank you. I wasted two hours at it.
But I didn't know that I can change sizes in DA.

Bless you, Joe!
In our lonely pursuit of our hobbies we don't have many friends.
I told you something about it last night.

Yes I remember. I think the joy we feel inside
from creating art is sometimes better than finding
GOOD friends.
I have known many many people in my life that I would call a friend
but only a handful I would consider true friends.

It is true. I started doing art later in my life.
When I had Paint.net first time, I did something,
I thanked my computer teacher for introducing me to that program.
I thought I was in heaven.
About good friends, well, it's hard to say, at least we have here
in DA people we can relate to.
And you are right about the 'joy we feel inside...'
Thank you, Joe

I have always like to draw as a child but I did not have
the talent for it. I like more to doodle with pencil and it felt better to me.
My sister is very good doing painting and father was also.
You are very welcome, Minia.

I used to read books, wanted to be a writer.
My sister was good at art.
I didn't have any pretensions to do any art.
But I always do what I want to.
I drawn my husband face on the computer,
did a self portrait with pencil, drawn British Queen out of the 20 pound note,
David Bowie, my computer teacher, and my husband out of his photo.
Maybe if we wanted, we could do many things, maybe it's not a question of having talent,
but the will to do things.

I agree we can do many things and I could learn to do drawing
better but I think that some people do have a natural talent and
maybe it would develop with me in time but now my intrests
with art are in the digital world. I call digital art...Paint-By-Numbers....0's and 1's.

I find it quite interesting actually. I'm bad at maths,
but I don't mind to play with the 'digital numbers'
