Sin is sin, no matter how beautiful or desirable it appears. It deceives us - blinds us from the truth - and separates us from God. So often we find ourselves clinging to our sin - sometimes because we don't want to give it up, other times because we feel like we cannot give it up. Sometimes we fall for the lie that our sin is simply part of our identity.

But Jesus has defeated sin and death. He took our sins upon Himself, carried them to the grave and rose victorious.

So let go of sin - let go of "Tom" - and cling to Christ instead.
