Bland explosión effects on an artist that has trained for four years :/

Anyway, I got Mega Man Zero collection as one of my christmas gifts. I have become addicted to it, it's so cool (And to think this originally was my least favorite Mega Man subseries when I first knew it...)

Now I need ya to know, I skipped Easy scenario entirely on the game cuz I found it "way too forgiving". Now the actual game is quite difficult. Abort a mission and it's lost forever (wat?). And the guardians were hard to battle, specially Phantom who has no elemental weakness and has a dangerously high stealth (Seriously, where did X learn all this ninjitsu?)

Ok, this is the scene where he self destructs himself trying to protect his "master". You may not see him because I still don't know how to make characters exploding without obscuring them.
