This is indeed a beautiful piece of work. Every detail of the Escaflowne is captured, the lighting is consistent, the shading is smooth. Even though it is SD, I would've suggested making the sword a tad longer and maybe not quite as wide. One of the lines inside the sword is a lil crooked also. Not trying to nit-pick, just mentioning it. You are indeed talented with mecha, be sure to keep up the great work!

Colored up in photoshop 7. I have a funky method of coloring where I color everything in grey tones using the pen tool. And then I select and cut up parts and change the color hue to save myself time from blending colors. I keep meaning to work on a tutorial to put up, but I'm too much of a slacker :/
