Urgh... I hate it. *MistyWishMaker ... I will have revenge on you~~~~~~~ DDDDDDDx

So I can't make tutorials to save my life. This is gonna get scrapped later. I just... I fail. I'm not an expert on coloring so I don't feel comfortable doing this. I'm not editing this either, so yeah. It's done.

SUPER PIMPAGE!

...Because this person's tutorial explains it WAY better. So go there.

IT'S TEXT-HEAVY, FOOL.

I'll try answering questions if they're appropriate and they were left out of the tutorial. (Bweh... They get worse and worse as you go on. 8D )

How can I make good lines in elements?

With Elements, I don't think it has the pen tool, so this can't be done. You would need just plain old Adobe Photoshop, not Photoshop Elements, if you wanted to do this method.

Really? I highly recommend ~Spirallin 's tutorial if this is the way you plan to do lineart; it's much better than mine!

Aww, thanks. I shall check hers out as well. I really did like yours though. You broke down all the steps very nicely and it was easy to follow.

It used to take forever. xDDD But once I learned the quick keys (like...CTRL and stuff) it wasn't so hard, and I could ink a picture in maybe 2 hours.

...Why? How long does it take you?

YES, YOU OWE ME A COLLAB NOW. >= D

:3 I'm gonna try doing this when I feel like coloring a picture on Photoshop...though I only have 2.0

Well, if it's only 2.0...then I don't know if the Pen Tool is available. XD It is on 5.0 and up, and the last time I checked (at Walmart...or Target, whatever) Photoshop 5.0 was around $90. That's really not that bad at all. I spent a little over $100 for the 4.0 version, and the Pen Tool wasn't included! T_T

Blah I'll try it without the Pen tool then. >.<

I honestly tried to understand, & it was going uber well until I got to the part where it said about the other tutorial. That's probably why. xD I'll go see that then.

All in all it really helped! <3 -is going to try it next time he scans a pic-

Go visit it. 0_0 It's the one tutorial that shows me how to get lineart to vary in thickness just the way I want to.

I actually like this tutorial. It's helpful in my opinion, seeing as I was trying to find a simpler way to do LineArt seeing as hotoshop is new to me, so this is great! Thank you~!

Glad I could help, then. But really, I usually follow ~Spirallin 's techniques.
