Her Japanese given name, Mana (真梛) contains the kanji 真 (ma) meaning "real, genuine", aluding at the fact that she didn't notice about the Phantom impersonation. The kanji used (梛) can also be read nagi and is the name of the tree that is similar to willow.

Her English Willow is based in the tree with the same name, which is characterized often used as an emblem of sorrow, desolation, or desertion, aluding at her mourning after losing her husband.

She's 30 years old during Dual Destinies! She's 157cm tall, and is half Italian.

Willow is a soft-spoken and kind woman with a very positive personality and a healing nature. She is very sweet, pleasant, and tries to look after others.

Although she is a very sweet person, she also has a mischeavous side. She loves to tease her closest friends and even her husband, always wearing her default sweet smile in her face, so sometimes people can't even tell if she's being actually serious, teasing, or not realizing what she actually said.

Willow is from a important family of doctors, so she was raised to be one in the future as well, although she didn't feel suited to be one at all.

She met Bobby when she was around 20 years old when he defended her from some molesters while she was working as a waitress.

Her parents found out about Willow secretly dating Bobby and didn't approve it at all, so at the end, she left home after thanking them for taking care of her until then.

Also, during that departure, seeing how her parents seemed more worry about their family name, Bobby told them than they shouldn't worry about her dirtying their family name since she will have soon his. Once in his car, she laughed, and asked him if that was his form to propose to her. He blushed and nodded.

They moved together and got married, and in 2019 they have their son Lamont. She started learning baking, since she wanted to make him delicious desserts when he would be a kid, and with Bobby's support, she even started her own bakery.

In canon, Bobby is killed in 2026 for the Phantom, so, since then, Willow and Lamont are living with the spy who is impersonating him without noticing. In 21st December of 2027, Simon Blackquill, visited her and told her about everything. After knowing everything that happened, Willow became very overprotective with Lamont, especially since he wanted to be a detective like his father. Still, she supported him heartily.

In the AU, Bobby didn't die. She was hostage from Oct 2027 to Dec 2027 by the Phantom, although they did have the intention to kill him. When he was found, he had his fingertips burnt, and suffered from severe PTSD.

After two months, in late March 2028, Bobby decided to return to work alongside Simon, and he and Willow ended up inviting him to live at their home while he finds another place, since at that moment he was living in Aura's room at the Space Center (and they didn't think it would be nice to live close to the place where Dr Cykes was killed...)

Willow knew that her husband was in love with Simon as well as with her, and didn't hide that fact to the prosecutor. And after some misunderstandings cos they're all chaotic idiots, the three of them start a polyamorous relationship.

When they all started dating, Simon starting calling her The Twisted Sorceress, stating that she isn't as angel as other people sees her as, and that she is just as twisted as him, in other different sense though. She seems to like it.

In 2029, Willow has her second child and first daughter, Stella Blackquill.

Willow meets Tristyn and Godot since she knows the later is Simon's friend, although she didn't know from where... When he told her that they met in prison, Willow thought that he was another prosecutor framed like Blackquill, and Tristyn felt so bad about that that didn't want to break it for her, so she didn't tell her the truth.
