No, not at all. Loki is the son of the Ice King Laufey (or at least it's said so on the movie, there is no real evidence) which makes him a Jotum, not an Asgardian.

Well yeah he's not an Asgardian but he's still Odin's blood brother right? I don't know I'm trying to get the facts and everywhere I read it it says they are blood brothers. But it wouldn't be the first time the internet has lied to me.

No, he isn't at all. I don't know where did you get such info, but it's certainly wrong. Acording with the movie, he's a Jotum, not an Asgardian, which makes him a different "breed". And acording with original myths, Loki is the son of Laufey and Farbauti, which are some short of gigants, not the AEses, even if his role is "god-like"... which means he is not related with Odin at all.
Anyway, the comic has many continuities, and perhaps it's from one of those.

By blood brother I don't mean they are biologically related I mean that they are what Alan tried to do in the Hangover. I think the common procedure is to cut your hands and then shake hands so that the blood mixes.

*random norwegian pops her head in* Loki is half joutun. Half god, half joutun. The old tales/myths varey somewhat, but most agree that he is a half-joutun.But who the father and mother were acording to the norse myths.. i do not recall sorry for butting in like this, but i'm a norse-mythology nut, and although I love the marvel movies and love how some of the gods are being portrayed (like Loki, Thor and Odin) there are a lot of stuff that well... don't agree with the facts x3 One being that Jotunheim looks like Nifelheim, oh well. Artistic freedom right?

lemme see here *inds mythology book* here we go, Snorre Sturlason defines him as neither Æse (asgardian), nor joutun. Only states he's of joutun heritage. It is also written by Snorre that he is Odin's bloodbrother

Note that some legends claim Odin to be Loki's father, as Odin himself is of joutun heritage and fooled around with A LOT of different women in his youth, joutuns included xD
But the official version, which is what Snorre and Voluspå wrote down, is that he is Odin's bloodbrother and friend/enemy

sure, but there is a lot of confusion mythological-wise about Loke. Have you seen the family three of the norse gods? it's one huge tangled ball of jarn. Odin being father to a lot of the gods from the valhalla side of asgard, Frigg being mother to only some. then there is Njord, Freya and Frey who come from the other side of Asgard, which I can't remember where came from...probably from one of Odin's two brothers, Vile or Ve
