Been doing this one on/off for a bit now, finished today : 3

Colours are a bit washed out on this laptop, but later on I'll see if this picture is how its supposed to be or not <.<

Emancipator - Valhalla ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG78Sz… )

This one was a bit clear right from the start. I knew I was going to draw Valhalla from a distance, surrounded by mountains. But later when i researched a bit, I became more and more certain what the city itself and the surroundings were going to look like.

I read that Valhalla was a city of like a thousand doors or something, so I wanted to like make houses inside of houses inside of houses.. you get the idea
Also, i read that the roofs of the city were made with golden shields or something, so that mostly inspired the whole golden city look.
There was also some mention about a river flowing down to create a spring or something near the city, so that is why there is like a lake surrounding the little island sort of land the city is built on. The lake is supposed to flow into these rivers/streams on both sides of the city out-of-view.

It's not my best work so far, but I think I'm learning more on creating backgrounds XD
