I think it looks okay. I don't remember if I ever tried to draw Vaati's Four Swords bat form before. Oh well, it's not too bad if it's a first or second try.What do ya think?

Man, itβs been a long time but Iβll try to remember.
Hm... For this particular drawing I think I was camping with my family, chilling and drawing. I had never drawn, as far as I can remember anyways, Vaatiβs monster form but I didnβt want to draw him alone nor did I just want to draw another Vaati picture with nothing else in the background so thatβs why I added it in.Β
I usually freestyle draw until something turns out well, this is actually just a hobby of mine that I just sort of always liked doing since I was in elementary.
All I can really say is use references, they do help you, and practice frequently.
Sorry if itβs not very helpful, I have trouble explaining things sometimes, and I also apologize for taking so long to reply.Β

He looks very elegant and self confident to me which is perfect for the character.
The shading is pretty nice although it could be smoother, especially on his eye bat form.

I liked making him seem elegant. Not sure why though, I just feel compelled to.

Yep, I believe that was part of my intent when I drew this way back when. I wanted to make him as detailed as I could manage at the time. 
I wanted to add something in the background instead of leaving it completely blank like I usually would. Again, thank you very much!
