i think this was my fav of all the chronicle pieces. the dreamy feel to the boy under the water reminds me of LOTR when he falls into the marshes where the zombies lay. i love this

i can totally imagine this in a childrens book. as an image next to a story about a boy who wants to be a fish or something. or next to "de vondeling van ameland" it's great.

The ghostly appearance of this woman is really well done,
You also let us see what's going on above the surface, and I think this is a good think,
this gives an extra though to this deviation...
The extra's: the bubbles, the tree-things, and the blurry above the girl's face finish this work,

I love this entire work, the premise - the manipulation, the way you stepped out of your usual style and reached for something so different and made it yours and made it work for you. It's flawless imho from a design standpoint but even more than that Carolyn, it invokes emotions in me and when a piece touches me that way - I feel like I am evolving into less of a heart hearted person, and more into my emotional side which has been missing for so long.
I loe this piece, and I love you a lot - you have been so good to me and for me.

Just beautiful! The details are great-- from the stars in the sky all the way down to the wonderful looking fish at the bottom (they remind me of lionfish). The blues just wrap me up and take me away-- excellent expression my dear friend
