Makes me wonder where Delenn (THE main charakter of the series) would stand. Lawfull Good? Because she allways decides her moves on how it would be the best for the universe from her point of view, and puts her moral over everything else, even the lives of those who will suffer trough her decisions. Or Lawfull Neutral? At season one you really couldn't know on which side she is and what planes she has, and this secretive, threatening side still comes up sometimes again. If you're not on Delenns side, it will not become you well. And then again, she is willing to sacrefice a lot for what is right from her point of view.

Very nice chart. Just finishing re-re-re-re-re... gosh how many times...re-watch of B5 and I always wave like Vir does above when show starts. Series never gets old.

Marcus, neutral? That... doesn't seem right. Neutral Good, yes. but not True Neutral. I think that would be better suited to Kosh proper, for the vast majority of the series.
Everything else is fine, I think.

I had someone else in RL say they didn't see Marcus as True Neutral either. There was a quote I wanted to use which I thought explained my reasoning, but it was too long to fit in the image. "I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, 'wouldn't it be much worse if life *were* fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them?' So now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe." That seemed like a neutral attitude. He just struck me as very middle-of-the-road in his philosophy.

See, what that quote means to me is that he's glad that bad things happening to you doesn't mean you're a bad person. That it's the world that sucks, rather than all the people in it. His incredibly selfless acts throughout the series make him an unambiguously Good character. True Neutral is for people who don't really give a shit about good vs. evil, who just want to be left to their own devices. That ain't Marcus at all.

Shared this at an RPG forum a while ago (credit given of course)... turned out half the forum was Babylon 5 fans and instantly started arguing who went where in the chart.. based on time in the series... the other half of the forum was terribly confused since it took over most of the forum for about 2 weeks. LOVE IT:

Wow, that's pretty impressive. And I knew there'd be debate over who goes where, everyone's got their own interpretation of such things. Friend of mine argued that Marcus shouldn't be Neutral, but I stuck to my guns. I originally wanted to use the quote where he talks about the unfairness of the Universe, I thought that showed his Neutral tendencies, but it was too long. Glad to know I sparked some debate on the subject. Thanks for sharing that with me.
