This is beautiful. What medium did you use? And, do you sell prints anywhere (or better yet, is the original of this piece for sale)?

thanks Samantha.
Its oil on canvas. painted a few years ago and sold.
It was around 61 x 91 cm. Sold for AUS $850.
So far I havent really tried uploading large enough files to make decent prints from.
Im sure I could though.
Ive had to paint it again about 3 times for people who wanted the original but missed out.

Ah, good to know. While, $850 AUS is a bit out of my price range right at the moment, I will definitely keep it in mind. I am planning on moving in a year or so, and will be redecorating from scratch. It might be a good time to start investing in some art. I'll keep you in mind. Everything you do is amazing!

Oh, cool! I'm in Texas, so that's not too far from Arizona - about an hour and a half flight. It's going to be hot in August though! But then, I guess August is winter for you, so you might like the break of some nice warm weather.

Oh, Im sure it will be fine. Im from Cairns in Far North Queensland. Its the tropics, so were used to really hot summers and beautiful sunny winters.
So even in August Ill probably find the Sedona nights a little chilly, and Im assuming a dry heat coz from what Ive seen it sure doesnt look like it gets much rain.
Were having a show with 6 Aussies and 6 Americans.
One of the main organisers is from Houston. Hes the link between the rest of us.

Ah yes, I imagine that Aussie weather is probably a lot like South Texas - very hot and humid. You're right, Arizona is a very dry heat. I'm sure it will feel like nothing to you. I hope you have fun!

Im sure it will be a blast. 12 artists hangin out in the mountains for over a week with nuthin to do.
Jenny whos organising it is getting Tony Curtis to open the show in exchange for some work donated to auction for his horse rescue ranch.
THAT is gonna be trippy as hell for me.

Nice, very nice. There's a lovely hazy feel to it, as if there's a slight sea-mist in the air and your eye's are watering from the breeze, which in turn, makes the water look extra sparkly!

In the classical sense? Nah, I was laid off earlier this year and that's about it on the job front. As for workin on my hobby? Yeah, slowly though. It doesn't bring in any money so I cant justify putting my chores on hold while I do it

*L* No, sorry, I did mean painting. Im just used to saying it. I talk to another artist friend of mine most days, and the first word on the phone is "are ya working?"
