Description
This is the final drawing of the labyrinth based on this maze: [link] and for this comic page: [link]If you look carefully, there is a problem section in this drawing, where I didn't follow the base design properly because I was tired and not paying attention. Bah.

So ... many ... bricks! My goodness. It's gorgeous, but I can't believe you subjected yourself to this torment!

Yes, I find that making myself STOP is a lot harder than making myself start, ha. I will work on something for months until it is *just right*. It's one of the reasons I had to stop painting: I found that leaving my weekend paintings to go to work on Monday morning put me in total withdrawal/DTs. I would be edgy, unfocused, angry, and constantly itching to go home ASAP and get back to them. My mom, she says I was always this way. When I was a kid I would paint for three days straight, on the kitchen table, ignoring all requests/orders/punishments to the contrary, and it would MAKE HER CRAZY. Of course, the years I didn't do any art at all in order to correct this issue, those were a whole other kind of bad. I am just an addict. Or obsessive-compulsive. Whatever.

Well, much better to be an art addict than ... any of the many other possible addictions one might start up.

I obviously haven't done much pencil in awhile, 'cause my writing callous had faded away and I had to reform it. *big red blister on middle finger* Yeah, I remember when I was a kid that finger was deformed because the callous was so big. Who knew tablet pens were so much easier on the hands?

I dunno, if someone made a garden maze like this, I think people would get lost and never find their way out. There would have to be helicopter rescues.

Yes, you definitely need a crayon to solve this maze. Or some colored yarn...

Thanks. I think this has filled my traditional art quota for the year.

Great work! I really like the detail you put in, and the geometric accuracy is very impressive

Thanks! I only wish more of it had been visible in the comic when I was done. I think I only used about 20% of this drawing, ha!
