I love this show. I see what you mean about the animation but I think the more simple movements of objects and characters, as well as the more realistic art style, both suit the show and tend to amplify the absurdity. The absurd situations are more emphasized with a simple animation style and realistic art direction. The animation made this show hard for me to get into though.
