CFP's are a CLOSED SPECIES
Chocolate Fountain Ponies are an edible version of the Musical Fountain Ponies. However instead of LED's and glass, they have sugar and candies. They are 100% edible but are still living creatures with their own personalities and such. They were originally created as party favors, but they sort of took a life of their own after they were created.
Despite the name "Chocolate" Fountain Pony, their chocolate fountains can be more than just chocolate. They can also be White Chocolate, Caramel, punch, soda, etc. And unlike the normal Musical Fountain Ponies, their body colors can have a wide range of shades, so light colored bodies are not rare for this sub species. However they do share many similar traits to MFP's, including the fact that their fountains turn off if they lift their legs.
You are NOT allowed to make your own.
You can only obtain one through Adopts, customs, or MYO slots
Only mlpdarksparx , BananenBuzz NightHowl019 are allowed to make adopts

Musical Fountain Ponies
MFP stands for "Musical Fountain Pony". They are based off of the Dancing Fountain Speakers.
As you can probably tell by the guides at the top, the ponies legs consist of these speaker designs. However their uniqueness doesn't stop at their legs. Their ears, wings, and any horns they have are also made out of glass or plastic. Their horns generally have an LED inside of them that glow when they use magic, and the base of their tails are wires. Another peculiar feature of theirs is that their manes and tails always sparkle, and they also have a set of LED's in various shapes on their backs that semi act as Cutie Marks. Basically these guys are really fun at parties

They're closed, so you have to buy a MYO slot, a custom from the species owners or a pre-made pony from others with one.

It's no problem! I have my own MFP and they're AWESOME. I 100% recommend saving up for a CFP. ^^ There's also a contest going on for a pre-exsisting one that I entered. It's a cutie for sure~.

I absolutely love this subspecies! Even though I'm not allowed to make any ponies, I was thinking of contributing art for the main page ^.^There is mostly MFP pictures, so why not include some of the subspecies? Or is MFPs the most popular species? (They are beautiful!!!)

Sorry for the late reply. Yes it is too late. A journal was posted a month ago giving everyone with previous permission 2 weeks to finish their MYO's.
Attention Peeps with prior MYO permission...If you were given permission to make your own common MFP/CFP/LSP before the species was closed, you are still able to do so!
BUT
In order to make it easier on us, we are going to have to put an expiration date on the free MYO's that everyone was given permission for.
NOTE: Before the species was closed, if you had asked in a comment on any of the references or journals and were told you could make your own, then you were given prior permission to make your own common MFP/CFP/LSP.
If you DID NOT ask or leave a comment asking, then you were NOT given prior permission.
Basically, everyone has 2 weeks to finish their free common MYO's that they were given permission for.
We do have the comments to go through, so please don't try to make one and say we gave you permission if you didn't get it, because we DO still have the comments on the references as proof of who was given permission and who didn't ask.
Once again, you have 2 weeks to finish your common MYO's that you were given permission
After this was announced, everyone had until February 19th to post them. (2 weeks after the journal was made)

Over time it has come to our attention that there have been a number of infractions against the MFP/CFP/LSP species rules. These infractions include, but are not limited to:
1.) Using Rare traits without permission
2.) Not authenticating their MFP/CFP/LSP by getting mlpdarksparx's or NightHowl019's approval
3.) Grossely misinterpreting the species traits (MFP legs with LSP Tails, missing sparkles in the hair, etc)
4.) Not giving proper credit for the species
We tried to be fair with this species. We wanted to share them with the community members and make them available even to those low on points. However this has created some confusion on our species rules and just how open they were. People saw others making their own and assumed they were 100% open, and therefor started making more WITHOUT following the species guides. Thanks to this, me and Night have come to a decision.
MFPs, CFPs, and LSPs are now CLOSED.

Chocolate Fountain ponies are open so you can make as many for your self as you like.
Lava Speaker Ponies and Musical Fountain ponies are limited to 1 common each though.
So you're allowed to make 1 common Lava Speaker Pony and 1 common musical fountain pony as well.
The rules for the LSP and MFP's however require you to show them to me or Nighthowl when it's done so we can verify they follow all the species rules and approve them. ^^

The sparkles are more to show that the hair is 'shiney'

The fountains for both MFP and CFP's stop when they lift or bend their legs.
For lava speakers though their legs don't stop.
