I won't question about Eclipse, if it's better or worse than the classic dA interface. I've my opinion of course, but this is not the point.
The point is: PLEASE, LET PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT TO USE, INSTEAD OF RUDELY FORCING THEM TO USE THE ECLIPSE INTERFACE AS MANDATORY.
I beg all of you to support these two petitions, regardless of what's your preference about "classic vs eclipse".
You are not asked to take side PRO or AGAINST Eclipse: Just leave people free to decide

Sadly as I was told the new implications
like the "fast chat" isn't compatible with
the old and would collide and cause
corruption by switching back and forth.
Seeing how also the new is the default
and the old can't be accessed anymore
when signing up, they are choosing to
close down the old for the new... I've
tried my best to reason with them but
it seems that they have no regrets
moving forward with the update.

I would not mind Eclipse so much but the one showstopper is that downloads are no longer properly labeled. Now I won't know if I am downloading a zip or a jpeg...

I'm trying to get used to the new eclipse, but I would still prefer to use the classic DA for most of what I do. I would love to at least keep the choice between themΒ

Totally acord, the old dA is better and I only use that. The problem I can give likes in comment like eclipse. Please developers, change that!

I just like the old sites color scheme better, I don't see why we gotta change over to the eclipse version.

To be honest they've added Eclipse a green color template which uses the same color palette of the classic version.
The real issue here are the features, that in Eclipse are even still incomplete and, consequently, it's uncomfortable for a lot of people

I agree. The new DA doesn't let you write journals saved from sta.sh and you can't drag your favorite-marked art to a specific gallery.
