I'm sure no one needs this, but if you do I hope it helped xDYeeeeeeah. The model I used is a mess, but thats why they call it a work in progress~
Also, you can start recording and the edge line won't show up. I hope this helps you, even though its not that good of a tutorial.

WHAT IF YOU TURN IT UPT O SEE WHAT THE LINES LOOK LIKE ON YOUR CHARACTER AND THERE NOT SEEABLE? IS THERE A WAY TO GET THEM BACK? (IS IT A TEXTURE THING OR A MODEL THING THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDED?

What if the edge line thickness box is grayed out? Cause that's happening with my models. The edge line colour box works and changes the colour of them, but the edge line thickness box can't be selected...

if the box is grayed out, there may be no edge line on the model. if there is and you can't change edge line, try loading your model on PMD or PMX editor and removing the edge line entirely

open your model in pmx editor, go to the materials tab, select a part of the model and next to "ambience" and under "shininess" there is a box that should be labeled "outline/shadow", uncheck the box to make the edge line go away
