Here's how I wish they met...

Jack's homeland was being destroyed by Aku and The High Priestess when Jack and Ashi were both kids. The Samurai Lord (Jack's father) was facing Aku in order to protect his Empress wife and his son Jack. After The Samurai Lord told The Empress (Jack's mother) to take Jack with her and hide in a safe place, but then The High Priestess punched The Empress in order to try to kill Jack, then Ashi came to protect Jack from her own evil mother which disobeyed her evil commands. Then the Samurai Lord and the Empress came to protect both Jack and Ashi and started fighting the High Priestess. The Samurai Lord stabbed the High Priestess with his sword which caused her to fall to her fiery death. Aku was shocked to see his evil wife fall into the of fire that he set on, and so he got angry that he threatened to kill Jack, and his parents himself, but it didn't happen. The Samurai Lord killed Aku with his sword too which also caused him to fall to his fiery death. After the terror was over, everything and everywhere of Jack's homeland was on fire and was destroyed. Ashi had to go with Jack and his parents to find a new and safe homeland where there'll be better parents for Ashi. Jack was traumatized after being threatened by the High Priestess, and so he told Ashi that her evil mother of hers tried to kill him and he started crying. Ashi knew how Jack felt, and so she told her how her evil mother was so mean to her, then the Samurai Lord and The Empress both comforted Jack and Ashi by hugging them and promised him to always protect them. Jack and Ashi both thanked them for comforting them, and then they both gave themselves a big hug.
