An intriguing "chaos game" with wonderful colors and shapes. Awesome and excellent work!

Freakin' awesome. I would love how you got to make the symbols.

just out of curiosity, did you add the little symbols with PS, or did you manage to get them there right in Apophysis? it's amazing either way

Thanks Banana-tree! As far as your question, yes, they are made in Apophysis

how can you have so many distinct flames in just one flame? through the image variation (by importing previous renders) or is it one of those pure wonders of Apophysis you've discovered again?

No previous renders were imported at all. To create the shapes in the little open areas I used a combination of variations on different transforms. I would have to look but I believe there is somewhere around 30 transforms in all making up this fractal.
I did have this idea a while back, (even though it was not used here) for a new variation (based on the iterated function itself with a number of variables) that would basically allow for creating the effect of many fractals within a larger one. I am not sure yet if it is possible but it seems like it would be. I hope I can find out if it is and help make that happen somehow. I am studying my math and programming now with the hope of introducing new variations someday.
This one however uses the variations included in Apo2.05b2z+

that's quite impressive then, not that it wouldn't be if they were imported you're an inspirational artist, and you keep amazing me with each of your submissions. thanks for sharing
