Description
According to a photographer who wanted to work with me:"Your images on-line are somewhat amateurish...The use of light and shadow, even composition is mediocre...They make no statement, and don't even come across as great editorial shots...The 4th and 8th images are something to think about [in my gallery]. The others are what I would consider outtakes."
(by the way, you can see some of his shots at [link] if you want to see the quality of his work, because he also thinks he can "revamp" my portfolio and get me more work with better photographers)
I don't know...you tell me what you think...

Ironically I'm wearing another Beatles shirt as I type this...lol! I truly appreciate your kind words. I have an extremely fast metabolism. This summer I'm working at a camp, and the constant activity makes me eat a bit more than I usually would when I'm less active. I've put on about 5 lbs (as I always do at camp), but by a week into school it'll be gone again...lol. There's just no hope for me gaining weight and keeping it on :-P

you may consider yourself picky as a disclaimer for anything you have said in regards to his photography, but you are not. he is no good. in more way than one. a GWC for sure

Hmm .. respect is such an outdated mode in some people's minds, and that makes me unhappy.
With nudes a model really has to be comfortable for the magic to start happening. There is nothing wrong with asking for what you want as a photographer, but intentions play a big role, eh?
I heard a recent horror story of non-nudes taking place and a Photog making comments about where he'd like to stick it... not a great way to get that positive word of mouth started.
Anyways, if the model is not comfortable, the Photog is screwed, unless there is a contract and lots of money floating in the deal.
.. and btw, the guy's work is kind of stock! That's my 2 cents rubbing together.

I don't think your shots are particularly 'ametuerish', but for what it's worth, I think any lack in your shots is the fault of the photographer, not the model. A good photographer knows how to work with the shape, color and over all presence of the model while using light and color to their advantage. God luck in expanding your modeling work.

I have a reflex camera and I like to photography pretty girls. Until now all my female friends were completely dressed
The point is that I do not know enough about photography to opine about the quality of your work or about any other photographer or model.
The only thing I can say is that I like the most of your pictures. And I like this Icon photo too.

His pictures are good but yours are not the bad he said. Anyway, if you decide to go and try to work with him, don`t go alone, no matter what he says. He is a stranger and until you don`t get to know him well, it`s better to prevent.

I watched the pictures I can find there. Looking at them and reading about him and watching his friends, my conclution is that this guy wants only naughty pictures ( that`s what I understand as what he calls Edge pictures). The best thing you can do is to be as far away from him as you can.

Lol...exactly the impression I got...I don't think I'd be unjustified in saying that on modelmayhem (the website where I get all my modeling work) he'd be labeled a GWC. It stands for Guy With Camera. It's what you call someone who basically doesn't care about art, but just wants to use his camera to get girls naked...lol

I agree completely with you.
I am a photographer too and I never ask a model to do nude pics. If she likes to do them she is free to express herself and tell me she wants to do nudes, but I never ask for them. I believe that is the correct way to treat a girl. I also use tele lens to keep my distance from her so she will not feel harrased.
