Description
One thing that really annoys me about scanners and graphite pencils:The glare factor.
I don't know if it's better or worse than taking a picture of it. I should probably use compressed charcoal when I wanted to fill areas of the page like that, because, as you can see, it warps pretty gnarly. Not even cranking up the contrast and lowering the brightness does anything to them.
But anyway, what do you think? I did this last night. Similar, but not specifically, to the Fireflight song "You Decide" (feat. Josh Brown of Day of Fire) from their album "The Healing of Harms". Great contemporary Christian rock with a female lead vocalist, similar to Flyleaf, whom I also like.

In my opinion I'd go to Jesus...
But I'd have a sense of fear from taking a bad step or losing my umm... grip? because of the pit under me.
But He is waiting for me. His Cross is the Right Way.
Even if I have to experience that suffering and the dangers of this world that would make me to fall, the Cross will AND GOING TO stay stable. Repentance will help me to get my balance back.
It will be hard, but it worths it. At the end, I'll be at Jesus. <3

Just tried to search lambs, then my quest is turned to searching Jesus-related pictures.

true message and kinda surprising style. somehow hypnotic!?
i always use my camera to "scan" my drawings.
you could try it like that but without flash! and with some lamps eg a bureau lamp shining directly on the drawing. and you have to shoot the photo directly from above. if you do it correctly it works well.

Yeah, I've done that sometimes with larger things that I did in my A3, but I don't know if I've got good enough light, and often the picture comes out grainy. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll probably just keep in mind not to press so hard, haha.

So true...
It seems you had to hold your hand on a paper too long. Or there's too much graphite

Haha, certainly too much graphite. Next time I attempt things with lots of black, I'll use ink.

niceeeeeee. I like the statement here. and sooo true!
(about the scanner: do you have microsoft photo manager? If so then scan and open the pix with the manager- you can adjust the image to get rid of the glare. I use it on my stuff all the time.)

I do, but I couldn't quite get it right. This was the best result I could manage. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
