Name: The Virus Age: 7 Gender: Male Height: 6' 2'' Species: Energy Being/ Corrupted AIThe Virus is rather insane, often adding a maniacal laugh at the end of every sentence. He is very talkative, and will often ramble on for hours. He often will ask you personal questions. When he asks these questions, do NOT answer. He is calculating, observing his target's every move, sometimes stalking them for hours. Killing to him is not only fun, but it also provides a decent meal to him. He toys with his victims, and then at the very last moment, he strikes, consuming all of the life energy that his target has.
The Virus has the ability to enter any technological device and control it. If you have a laptop, smartphone, or computer, hide it. He also has the ability to control electricity and can consume any form of energy. The energy he can consume varies. He can consume plasma, electrical, nuclear, and life energy. He tries to avoid negative energy, (doesn't like the taste) temporal energy (gives him a massive headache) and altogether avoids rift energy (consumption of this energy will make him implode)

Merda looked up from studying the map of the school halls and spotted the being approaching from the other end of the hallway. Beside her a feline tilted her head. Though the feline was tiger sized it was all white with no stripes. Merda raised her eyebrows as he drew closer. "That's a first."

"Oh? AM I?" A static-infused voice cackled behind her.

Merda whirled around. He had approached from one side of the hallway and now suddenly he was on the other! Merda's body relaxed automatically, wary, and prepared for action. "Indeed you are. I assume you are composed of some variation of energy?"

"Indeed. So, what do you prefer to be addressed as, and brings you to this school?"

"Addressed as? I'm not quite sure what you mean." The Virus said, tilting his head to the side quizzically. "As for your second question, I'm here because I need somewhere to hide from a robot that's hunting me down. Plus, I'm trying to find my girlfriend."

Merda inclined her head. "I meant, what should I call you? And, ah," she coughed into her fist and then stroked Vandini's head, "why are you being chased by a robot? Is it programmed with a hero complex?"

"It's a long and complex story." The Virus said. "You kill a few million people, and somebody then wants you dead. Funny, really." He cackled, and his face flickered. "And you may call me The Virus, or 'him' or 'he' if you must."

Merda cocked her head and let a sly grin creep onto her lips. "There we have something in common, Virus." Vandini growled in memory beside her, then yawned casually to show of sharp points, useful for a variety of tasks.

The tall staff member made his way through the crowd of new students, finding this one. "hello, Sir. I am your school's counselor, Mr. Annihei, It is a pleasure to meet you, and I hope you have a wonderful stay here at AoV." his smile curved in a wide "v" shape, his red eyes sweet with kindness.."I notice you were one of my classmates last year, I am sorry, but I do not recall who you are. May I ask of your name?"

The Virus cackled, looking at the man before him. "It's nice to meet you, Counselor. I am The Virus." He stretched his arm out in greeting, opening his blood-red claw to shake Annihei's hand.

The following is found burned into the side of wherever the Virus has taken refuge after the previous year's cataclysm. It's an almost savage form of Pyrography with a strange care. Whatever wrote the words carbonized the interior of the letters without, somehow, consuming the entire structure. The script is edged, squaring off edges with a razor precision. This is the kind of writing that you normally find chiseled into runestones buried in rotting glens. This is the kind of writing you find on monoliths warding off festering fields so soaked with blood the land has become a rust coloured bog with corpses looking to grip at your ankles as you pass.
It squirms. It jabs into the eye. It pulls and coils into the brain once read and nests there. This was your new dorm-master calling and the writing was as much a warning as it was an invitation. The written word is dangerous and the scarlet letters that writhe under close inspection scream mouthlessly in the folds of the brain, never to be spoken.

You're back in. I also think you've been getting an unhealthy dose of what it's like to roll with those of us who never left the flesh. You might not like what's in store and if you don't have the new found guts in your electronic bowels for what's to come, I suggest you leave, now. It's going to be red. Soaking red that stains skin and the mind alike. Since all you have is your mind, you've got more to lose than most and, make no mistake, if you lose that after you come back you won't be long for this world.
If you think you've got some steel in that crackling form of yours though, pack your things. One bag, nothing flashy, nothing that shows off. Just what you need to survive.

"So, the Academy wants me back, huh?" He cackled some more. "I suppose I SHOULD go back. Out here, my energies can be tracked. M1 is no doubt looking for me."
He zapped forward, lurching towards the academy's location.
"After all, I still need to find my significant other. Maybe she made it out alive as well."

Hold on, let me explain this. It might be long so prepare yo'self.
The Virus can't feed on emotional energy since it is not classed as a scientific energy, but more of a concept. He can, however control it to some extent. The human brain essentially is one big generator, sending electrical pulses to different parts of the body via the central nervous system. The Virus can re-direct the energy to different centers of the brain, making them feel different emotions. For instance, if you feel brave, and fearless one moment, The Virus can alter what that feeling is, making you more terrified than you've ever felt before. He can also make people sad, angry, happy, or infatuated. (infatuated meaning feelings of love, if you didn't know) The only thing The Virus can't do is physically control you. It takes a lot of concentration to do that, and The Virus has a generally short attention span

Brandy smiled when she saw the new student. "Welcome to the Academy," she said with a slight Southern drawl. "I"m Brandy de Jerez, and you are . . .?"

The Virus turned around, flashing his spiky grin and red eyes. "I'm The Virus," he said with a cackle, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Brandy." He extended his clawed hand. "Don't worry, I don't bite... Much."

Brandy raised her eyebrows and smiled as she took his claw. "Should I just call you Virus? Or is 'the' an important part?"

The Virus cackled some more. "You can call me Virus when you're talking directly to me, but when you're referring to me indirectly, you put "the" in front of Virus." He stopped for a moment. "You know, this is the longest conversation I've ever had with a girl. Usually, they'd be dust by know."

"Well, I appreciate not turnin' into dust." Brandy leaned against the wall. "So what dorm are you in, Virus?"
