Description My anteosaurus. A pencil drawing edited with Photoshop. Dinocephalian anteosaurus was a ferocious predator from the Permian of South Africa.

For an adult, full grown anteosaurus, yes, I agree.

Excellent! Though I suggest making the body more robust ans deeper, the skull bulkier and the muzzle more upturned, kind of like the reconstruction in Anteosaurus's Wikipedia article.

Whatever nits could be picked with the limb placement, this is gorgeous. Very nice skin, especially. Quite believable.

I can see you did a lot of work in keeping an accurate skull.

Your artist rendition of Anteosaurus is very well done and is rich in detail, not to be a skeptic, but Anteosaurus Magnificus's limbs were further below its neck and chest and its spine was much higher than what tou portrayed it as. But still, the color/colour scheme is outstanding!

Thank you for the comment. Indeed, Anteosaurus Magnificus is always pictured with a high spine and thick neck (I wish to find literature about anteosaurus postcranial bones!). It is the only recognized anteosaur species yet although many various skulls are known. However I decided to draw an anteosaurid in a bit different, more crocodilian way.
