OMg I finally finished this one!!!
This is the request asked me since last year.
The picture consisted on demostrating both Pokemon main stories, the ANIME and the MANGA. Each character has a representative in the "other side" so they are mirroring each other. Also adding a little darker color to the manga side because the manga is a little more violent and dark than the anime, which is cheerfull and more for kids. Also adding the tittle "The two sides of the story" which is actually hencej18 fanfiction about a world where both "sides" meet.
I decided to draw them handmade... yeah the lineart is handmade, because they where TOO many characters I needed to draw, and since i also needed to "mirror" each one, I thought it would be easier... but ahh! I lost propootion many times as you can see. And then coloring was a whole challenge for me.
I reallly hope you like it, and Im really really really sorry about super lateness.

I heard from a Japanese magazine that the writer intended Ash at the end of the jhoto saga to become red and be all hot blooded and badass and end his character there at the end of master quest and have him apear once in a while in the other seasons as a guide for the new main characters in each region but the higher ups that produced the show saw major greenbacks in their eyes and wanted to use Ash and thusly way over-used him.

I also read that the writer intended to have Ash and misty hook up but at the end but with the producers wanting more of ash that was sidelined so pokeshippers you almost had a victory there.

Actually, no, the former head writer said that no Ash shippings (at least until he was around) are canon. That includes Pokeshipping.

I choose manga side - i mean the girls's personalities are ten times more different one from another than the anime girls. I mean Misty,May,Dawn they're all ordinary,sweet girls with some small personality differences , like confidence and etc.
In the manga you get a cunning theif- Blue/Green , a girl that always gets dismissed for a boy and can read minds - Yellow,a ....well, i can't say Kris is very unique(still she is pretty cool), A "Wild animal" - Sapphire or Sapphi and a totally awesome high class - Platina!
