Description krishna as parthasarathy..
his face was completly scarred by bhishma's arrows in the mahabharata war.

trivia:
did u know that india invented gunpowder(agnicurna) in ancient times as opposed to people's belief that china invented it?.. then again china and india were very close in ancient times.. so it is understandable.

I want u to know that, I am in the process of creating a strategic game, which is inspired by Indian epics. Do you want to join?
No pay planned
For now I am planning to develop a prototype with online battles (with client server model, client being in python and server being in java).
I am not an expert in digital art though, We can use your skills.

PS: Your arts are inspiring !!!

Excellent depiction! Β

However, I though this act of Bhishma irks Krishna (and eventually he becomes so angry) and goes to kill Bhishma. Β I don't think Krishna was ever sad in his life!? Β (well this is from whatever little I know). Β I am sure you have read more than I can understand :-P... I am genuinelyΒ interested in knowing when/where Krishna was sad. Please educate me.

There are many instances in the Mahabharata where Krishna displays normal human emotions.

Such pain and fatigue in his face well done. Could you direct me to places where I might learn more about krishna and hiduism in general? Maybe a few of the holy texts I can read

thanks man!
and to learn more about krishna try reading the bhagavatam and mahabharata..
but the best book is the bhagavat gita(krishna's own words).
you can also try reading the ramayana make sure its the one writeen by sage valmiki cuz that's the original one(cuz its the oldest).and also there are the vedas which are really awesome books about all the indian deities, there are four of them rig veda, yajur veda, atharva veda and saama veda.and if your a person interested in ancient science then try reading agasthya samhita- an ancient book about science related stuff(its amazing how it also teaches you how to make an alkalyne battery).
there is also a book called vimaankika shastra, which is an ancient book about aeronautics and airplanes(yes airplanes!!in ancient times, the book talks about the clothing the person has to wear to fly the airplane and even describes the parts of the engine).
my writing skills suck so don't mind.

Parthasarathy is Krishna as Arjuna's(partha) charioteer/driver(sarathy).
in the Mahabharata war,Bhishma shot him with allot of arrows to slow him down and so Krishna ended up having scars all over his body and face(there's a temple in the south india with an idol of Krishna full of scars).
btw thanks

we even used electricity in ancient india
if u read the book called agastya samhita written by sage agastya,he has givenn complete detail on how to make a electric battery.he also mentions that the gas emmited when using the battery(hydrogen) can be use as fuel for aircrafts called vimanas.

just google for the term vimana and agastya samhita.. its interesting how we indians lost our scientific knowledge.same thing happened with the egyptians(even they used electricity).
