It is too long since I did some art because I couldn't *not* do it. I was inspired by ~natasha-cinnamon 's recent ink drawings of birds, which I adore, and *needed* to draw my own little songbird.It was also a challenge in limiting myself - I only used my own textures that are available on my stock account `pendlestock . No flowery patterns, no glitter... it was tough! But I never use my own textures (there are too many eye candies on DA to use!) so I thought it was high time I did.

Aww sweet! It's funny what you say about limiting yourself to your own textures etc, I can use other people's 3d stuff all day long if I've bought it, but as soon as it comes to stock, I find it almost impossible to use any other than my own.

It is lovely. I like especially the tree bark. And the bird and the colours. It's simple and detailed at the same time. And regarding your textures: I think several of them are also pure eye candies.
