I've been lookin for a skull/moth motif for a while, if it had some colour it would be on my tattoo-list. Nevertheless, awesome job dude.

Check out Jondix or Thomas Hooper-amazing geometric work. But the master in my book is this guy Xed le Hed

Yeah got some of Jondix's flasg and loads of Thomas's stuff (shirts and books), he used to be in a band with some friends of mine. Met Xed a few times and he works with a couple of my mates, so watched him doing his crazy dots quite a bit.

I bet Xed's work takes FOREVER-someone should film it = ) Yeah, I have a friend who just moved to Brooklyn who knows Thomas through a friend-maybe one day

Haha surprisingly the dot work tends to even out about the same as big colour just cos its not one go for line work, then shading, then colour... Watching Boff do it by hand is mental though... Trouble is getting in with an artist when they still want to do the style of thing you like, Hooper's stuff keeps on changing all the time and luckily I always seem to like where he's going with it. Have you had much work done?

by Hooper or Jondix, no, but I have 4 big pieces on my upper arms by Ezra Haidet (basically half sleeves), a torch from Steve Boltz on my left calf, and a sailor jerry ship on the back of my left calf from Kevin Poon. Next up is something else on my left calf from Cris Cleen if I can make it out to San Francisco this summer.

I've started collecting pieces on my legs since I got a bit older and started to really get to meet some great artists. I've got pieces from Bara, Filipe Andrade, Sparta, Crez, Duncan X, Steve Vinall, Erin Chance, Scarlet Hel, Derek Noble, Adrian Willard, Simon Erl... I got a lot of my upper body done when I was quite young and its a real mish mash of styles and unfinished work by mates. Tho I love my left sleeve.

Cris Cleen's work is great, tho if I was headed to San Fran I'd be wanting something from Theo Mindell...

I actually considered Mindell, but the shop is further north/outside of San Francisco proper. I had originally wanted something from Skull and Sword (Grime or Lango), but the waiting list is crazy. Cris was very approachable and I think he can nail a San Francisco-themed small tattoo. I'm kicking myself for not getting something from Mr. X when I visited London last year =/

Do you have pics of your work?

I've been in love with his work and always regret not getting something when he was at the 1st London tattoo convention. It'd be worth the wait! Grime is on the list, but you need to be some kind of god to even get on his list its like over 3 years or something crazy... Duncan books up in 3 month slots and he only takes on clients he's worked with before now, my lady is getting her leg sleeved by him!

There are some pictures of my tats out there but I don't put them up myself cos I hate how people rip things off, this is my right shin [link] which is the only photo I could find readily!

Straight up my shin in 2.5 hrs, while sat on a collapsible table trying not have my ass hang out to hundreds of people at the London Tattoo Convention...

LOL-convention pieces have to be pretty awkward with all the traffic and what not.

Yeah that and the generally cramped conditions and lack of appropriate seating... I've had the side of my knee, thigh and under both arms done at conventions and I don't recommend it. Though it is also kinda fun... The weird thing I see is people getting stuff done on their throats/neck, hands, heads, etc, places that are a bitch to tattoo even when the artist and client are comfortable in a studio. And then there is the extra cash because its at a convention... But if you have to travel and its an artist from another country its well worth it.
